Summary: It was our first time visiting the area and we were impressed. The hosts: Carmen and Dennis: - super friendly and nice, welcoming and doing their best to make us feel good. The house: super clean, fully equiped with what you need (thanks for the wine!), spacious and cozy. And the roof terace!!! The location: walking distance to Petten, biking to Schoorl and Schoorlse duinen and it is in the middle of the tulip fields. Definitely will come back in April/May again! The area: there are sea, beach, dunes, forest, canals, farms, gardens, Schoorl and Petten, Schagen. You don't need Alkmaar or Den Helder, the area is offering so many places to explore, enjoy and have fun! Thanks for having us Carmen and Dennis, it was a great pleasure for us! You made happy even our grumpy teens :) See you soon!

Summary: This holiday is simply indescribable. very clean and nicely decorated. The owners are very friendly and helpful. This is a real eye-catcher. Not to forget the hot tub is a dream. There you can spend the evening with a nice wine. We come back :-) Carina und Daniel

Summary: We spent 5 days in Burgervlotbrug and it was really the most relaxing vacation we've ever had so far :) The house was amazing and much nicer than we expected from the pictures! We had everything we needed, the kitchen was well equipped and we cooked every day. The only thing we are happy we brought for ourselves was the The absolute highlight surely is the private jacuzzi which we used every day. The view from the house is stunning and it's only a few km to the beach. Nevertheless we would recommend coming by car, because you have to drive to the next valley to get groceries. We also recommend visiting Alkmaar, the little town is so beautiful and romantic (much more than Amsterdam!). All in all we had a very good time and we would love to come back again :)

Summary: We are 4 friends and we loved relaxing in the remote countryside full of birds and sheeps, next to the canal and 30 mn walking from the sea. Not convenient to reach the supermarkets and Amsterdam without a car but the owner was very helpful in bringing information. Only bad point: wifi is very slow or not working, so you may want to plan to bring books, games and music.

Summary: Awesome flat, with everything described. Very close to the beach, with Wi-fi, Jacuzzi, Sauna, barbecue, a nice deck, and everything you need for a relaxed stay. The flat is even nicer than in the pictures and has an awesome view from the living room, bedroom and deck. We stayed for 10 days and everything was perfect. Nice bed, good water pressure and temperature, kitchen was well equipped, the Jacuzzi was even warm and prepared when we arrived. Carmen was really kind and easy going at all times and ensuring that we have a nice time. We have had a wonderful time.

Summary: We (2 couples, one 4 jear old child from germany) had a very nice stay in this flat in mid of March 2016. The flat was very nice equipped (all you need and even more, like e.g. a Saeco Coffee Machine), well cleaned and prepared for us. At arrival Dennis showed us the whole flat and gave us some information about what to do in the area like horse riding, swimming and which supermarket is the cheapest. ;-) All very uncomplicated and friendly. You have a big living room with two big windows to the street and another one to the side, a toilet and the kitchen in the back. Going through the kitchen, you come to the steeply stairs to the upper floor, where you have the three bedrooms (one to the street on top of the living room, one to the side and one to the back with access to the roof terrace), another toilet and the bathroom with a rain shower. The traffic of the street wich is directly in front of the house was of course hearable, but no one of us was feeling annoyed. During the day it was even interesting for our daughter to see some very special trucks and even a whole house being transported by truck so close to her sitting at the window. At night and on weekend you have a lot less traffic. We all slept without being awaked from traffic at all (when window was closed)! The only (small) negative point - but not worth deducting a point in the rating - is may be the only cold water in the two toilets. If you don't like washing your hands with cold water you need to leave the toilet and walk over to the bathroom (if you are in first floor) or to the kitchen (if you are in the ground floor). Would defenetly rent this flat again, if thinking about another holiday in Petten! :-)
