Positive: Primarily the location. We were attending a wedding in nearby Bowerchalke and we booked to be close to the venue. Rookhaye was perfect, it was in walking distance. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed.

Negative: There was nothing we didn't like, just bear in mind it's on a working farm with all the sounds and smells you'd expect!

Positive: This is a very attractive cottage on a working farm in a beautiful location. It was immaculately clean, warm and comfortable. There was good parking, easy access and inside it is bright and spacious. Plenty of room for 4 people. It made a very good base for our working visit.

Negative: There was a lack of personal touches and absolutely no contact with the hosts, which felt a little stange. The equipment in the kitchen was good but basic, a corkscrew and small things like salt and pepper would have been very helpful. The access via the lane currently has a poor surface but this will shortly be remedied.
