Positive: Very engaging and communicative host. Detailed instructions for entry to the property and quick responses when having any queries. Left some treats and drinks for us which was also a nice touch. A nice quiet location very close to the local station and with a park nearby, asked the host in advance for things to do and was given a comprehensive response which was also very useful.

Negative: The sofa/sofa-bed could do with updating, was quite creaky and uncomfortable at times. Otherwise was a great stay I’d be happy to use this accommodation again!

Positive: I had to take a trip back to the UK on short notice due to a family incident, luckily found this wonderful accommodation which was a highlight of an otherwise stressful visit from Sydney. The apartment was perfect for our stay and had everything we needed, would highly recommend and will be keeping an eye out for availability on future trips. The owners were responsive and helpful throughout, access was simple and location to Beckenham and transport into London certainly helped.

Positive: The property was clean and easy to access on a quiet road close to the train or bus. We loved the local cafes and shops and how easy it was to get into London. The host also provided tea, coffee and milk and some bottles of beer which was a really nice touch and much appreciated.

Negative: OF course the stairs up to the bed were not that good for people who might not like heights or small staircases, but this is clear in the listing so was not unexpected! I enjoyed the quirky rooms!

Summary: We really loved the property, the ease of access and clean facilities and close to public transport!
