'The Stables' is a wonderful property from which to explore south east Kent. It's beautifully decorated by an interior designer who has an eye for luxury living and has made the very most of the space here. There are 2 double bedrooms with exquisitely comfy beds; a modern bathroom with a spacious shower, sink and loo and a wonderful kitchen/living room with double doors leading onto the stunning courtyard. The duel aspect kitchen / living room has a practical, well designed kitchen with oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. The living area has a comfy sofa, a TV and a designer coffee table. The courtyard is beautifully planted with eye-catching plants and has an antique fountain at its centre. Enjoy breakfast and dinner on the patio overlooking the courtyard or, even better, a glass of wine in the evening! There is even off-street parking for two cars!

Summary: We stayed for 3 nights at the Stables and it was lovely. Furnishings were very nice and superb garden for the dog, totally enclosed and very safe. Bottle of wine and flowers on arrival were a nice touch. Although the property was joined to the house we felt totally separate and in our own space. We would definitely go back.

Summary: On this occasion a lack of pre-arrival communication / information did cause some confusion on arrival and other minor issues were quickly dealt with Paul and Emily. Suggest some under cabinet lighting in kitchen area and perhaps some user instructions for the equipment and in the particular the microwave which totally baffled us!! Great location and attractive courtyard shared with Paul's office. The vase of fresh flowers and complimentary bottle of wine a nice touch but suggest the white wine is left in the fridge rather than on a table in the sun!

Summary: My wife and I and our 2 dogs had a lovely, restful stay. Set in a peaceful and pretty location on the edge of the village, the Stables provided a perfect base for us to relax and enjoy the surrounding area.

Summary: We've just had a very enjoyable stay at The Stables. The hosts were charming and helpful and it was a very nice family venue. Having been to a few similar accommodations in the last year we were a little disappointed that, unlike the others, this one did not provide a welcome pack of basic items on our arrival to set us up, though the bottle of wine was a nice gesture. Nevertheless we were made very welcome by Emily and Paul. Thanks again.

Summary: We found it a very comfortable property with everything we needed. Hot water was a bit erratic, but OK after it was explained. Hosts were very helpful.

Summary: The Stables was a great base for exploring North / North East Kent. The accommodation is modern and clean and was perfect for a family of 3. Emily and Paul were fantastic hosts and gave us some good advice on the surrounding area. We had our dog month old puppy with us and the courtyard directly outside was perfect and securely enclosed for him to be off the lead. Parking is secure too. Beds were lovely and comfortable and the shower was great. WiFi was good. We even had a bottle of wine, flowers and a card left for us which was a lovely touch. Everything we needed was there and we had no trouble finding the place with the helpful instructions sent to us before the trip. I would thoroughly recommend The Stables and we hope to be back another day to explore further. Thank you Emily and Paul for having us.

Summary: Aside from a couple of cobwebs, the property was clean and tidy, well laid out and the bed was very comfortable. Private outside seating overlooking a pretty courtyard garden. Country location, a short walk to the village amenities. Recommend the local fish & chips!
