The year round vacation home is nestled on 3.5 acres on the pristine shoreline of Lake Superior with 1000 feet of private lake front. 2100 sq ft comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests. 2 bedrooms are on the main floor with a bath in between. one bedroom has a full size bed and access to back deck overlooking the lake. The other bedroom has a full and a queen size bed. The loft has the largest bedroom with a king bed, and a bathroom with a claw-foot tub.
The log home has central heat and air air conditioning. Firewood is provided for the soapstone wood burning fireplace in the great room.
The cabin has a remote, secluded location. For security purposes it is under outdoor video surveillance.

Summary: Premium property. Very well kept. We really enjoyed the stay. Access and view of the lake was exceptional. Location to the Porcupine Mountains and Ontonagon was great.

Summary: The house and lakeshore are absolutely beautiful. We saw the lake with ice along the shoreline and some powerful waves in early April. There was snow cover as well. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets! The house is amazing with beautiful log construction. It is spacious and well furnished and stocked. The kitchen has very nice appliances, is well arranged, and has great workspace and cooking tools, dishes, and pots and pans. Bedrooms and bathrooms very nice. The shower in the lower level bath is part of a fairly deep tub and may be difficult for some people to get in and out of. Also be aware that there is a flight of steps to get into the house. All in all we enjoyed it very much, and our group was comfortable and happy!

Summary: The log cabin was beautiful, clean, and very cozy! We woke every morning and had coffee on the back deck to the sound and sight of the waves. The house was fully stocked with everything you could need, even a crockpot. We visited over 25 waterfalls all within about 1 hour of the cabin. We highly recommend this property, best vacation rental we have ever had.

Summary: Our stay was seamless and very enjoyable. The home is wonderfully appointed and set up with great thought to your needs. The kitchen is obviously stocked by someone who loves to cook because it was missing nothing you might need. Fantastic home with crazy beautiful views! Do yourself a favor and stay here!

Summary: Wonderful place to get away. The property is on a LARGE lot with 1000 ft of shoreline and no neighbors. We walked the secluded beach and watched the sunset every night. So nice to get away from life's responsibilities!!!!

Summary: We absolutely loved this cabin and its location. This is truly a wonderful location, so close to Lake Superior and the Porcupine Mountains. The host was great to work with too. Definitely a 5 star rating. Zero complaints.
