Summary: We loved our stay at this house. Was an even cooler property than advertised. House was beautiful, great beach access and had everything we needed. Definitely would love to visit again and would recommend. Such a cool spot.

Summary: This beautiful Lake House on the shores of Lake Superior is perfect in every way. Coming from Ohio- it felt like I was driving to the ends of the earth…but I didn’t mind one bit because the fall colors were brilliant along the way and the house itself is a worthy destination. Everything about it - the layout, the look, the location - was thoughtful and considered. The house exudes comfort and class. I felt so lucky to call it home base for a few days. Jay and Michelle provide any amenity you can think of…and yes- the kitchen really is stocked! Above and beyond my expectations for sure. They were also so welcoming of my pup by providing amenities for her as well- which made the time there extra special. I can’t say enough good things about Jay and Michelle : ) they are super kind people. communication was easy and pleasant. They truly treat you as an honored guest, with care and concern for your well being and comfort. I took full advantage of the beach combing, nature bathing, hiking, star gazing, lounging (such a comfortable bed) and the acoustics in the kitchen ; ) This was definitely a meaningful trip for me - my heart and mind won’t soon forget. Thank you Jay and Michelle for sharing your special place on earth with Mae Belle and me 💕

Summary: Wonderful place to enjoy the beauty of Lake Superior, amazing views of the porcupine mts and northern lights. The house is amazing. The nights were cooler but we kept cozy with the fireplace. Very comfortable place not lacking in charm.

Summary: We love this place so much! Beautiful house, and amazing private beach! Our family had a wonderful vacation. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the beach, but there is also so much to explore nearby. We visited the Porcupine Mountains and many other gorgeous hikes. We will definitely be back!

Summary: The property was absolutely stunning. The whole house was tastefully decorated and spotless. The kitchen was stocked with anything you would need. The beds were comfortable. The deck on the house had a bbq grill and a propane fire pit with many comfortable chairs. The location was very nice and right on the water. The beach was beautiful and we spent every day by the water. Jay was very responsive and quick to respond. We will be back. Lu and Peter

Summary: We were absolutely blown away how beautiful the home was when we walked in the front door. Really enjoyed our stay there. Fantastic sunsets views from a great beach just a short walk from the home. Would recommend to anyone. Only minor issue is water pressure for showers. Owner is aware and working on. Very minor issue given how enjoyable our stay was.

Summary: I don’t think I can summarize the beauty of this place in a review. The home is a work of art and you can see the dream of the owners in every space. We felt at home the entire time. The beach was the most amazing time spent when we were there. The sunsets are painted over the lake like a dream and our family soaked it up. We explored the area with great rec commendations from the host and others we met in town. Our daughter kept saying it was the best vacation ever! We agree and will be back. We were to bring our fur child with us and she passed before the trip, we honored her there and felt her with us during this time. All in all, 1000 out of 10; this trip will always have a special place in my heart.

Summary: House was beautiful and full of little surprise amenities. My wife and I traveled up to the UP for a few days of hiking with our toddler. The location of the house is fairly close to the trailheads, and right on the lake. Jay was extremely easy to communicate with inside the Vrbo app, and we had no issues finding the house or anything in the property. Check-in/out was seemless with very little for us to truly take care of compared to other Vrbos we have stayed at. Jay also gave us some hiking recommendations and places to stop at in town, and they ended up being very helpful as we had to pivot a couple times with the toddler. Overall, awesome trip and house. I have already recommended the property to a handful of friends and family looking to get up to the area.
