Summary: In October 2022 we stayed 11 days in “le Charri” with 2 people. The house is very comfortable and has a very complete interior. Enough space. Beautiful terrace with breathtaking views of the valley and the mountains. You can even see Jeanne on the horse on the well-known "Ballon d'Elsace", with the binoculars. You can take various walks from the house. In addition, there is a lot of information about the Vosges and there are topographic maps available. Laurent and Treacle are lovely people; they make you feel at home. The vegetable service from the local market was very convenient. On arrival, the ordered vegetables, the cow's milk and the goat's cheese were already in our house. Definitely a place to come back!!

Summary: We, a Dutch couple, stayed in Le Charri for 10 days and had a marvellous time. The accommodation was perfect, very complete and comfortable, and as an extra: spectacular view over the valley. We woke up at morning while the birds were singing, with great smells of all the flowers and herbs, and had a view that was different every day. We walked almost every day in the environment (great walks, very well signposted) and enjoyed every minute of it. Treacle told us a lot about the history of the buildings and the environment, and made sure we had everything we needed. We surely recommend a stay in Le Charri to our family and friends (and other interested people)!

Summary: We are from Australia & bought a house in the area but while we were getting it liveable we stayed in this beautiful very private one bedroom farmhouse for 4 weeks. It has everything you could possibly need. It has a well appointed kitchen which includes dishwasher, living room area is wonderful as it has an amazing view over the valley and a great wood fire, the bedroom has a double bed but with individual controls so you can set it to your own comfort level but there is also a daybed in the living room which I utilised and did some reading (perfect spot) and the bathroom is separate with a washing machine and a great shower (plenty of pressure and hot water) the toilet it separate and to top off the comfort level it has underfloor heating throughout the house. We also had access to wifi and ADSL port so keeping in contact with our family was easy.The couple who run this amazing property are Treacle and Laurent and they cannot do enough for you. They have been so helpful and have gone out of their way for us. I highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to stay in the area. You are up in the mountains and you can't describe the views. It was snowing while we were there so the views were breathtaking.
