The 936 acres of Lower Long Lake in Chippewa County offer year-round recreational fun, 4 public boat landings, abundant fishing (walleye, musky, panfish, small mouth and largemouth bass, northern pike), nearby access to hiking, biking, ATV, snowmobile and cross country ski trails. Downhill ski facility, Christie Mountain in Bruce, WI is 25 miles away.
This true "northwoods cabin" style home and boathouse have been impeccably maintained and updated, keeping the original charm and structure fully intact. House sleeps up to 8, and the three-season overflow sleeping space for 8 in the boathouse offers unique accommodations just inches from the water. Spacious screen porch, living room and dining room share the same incredible view of the lake from the perfect perch up on a nice rise from the shoreline. The large dining table and spacious living room offer perfect spots for cards or any of the 20 some board games and makes a good spot for movie nights. Cool-weather visitors will find it nearly impossible to leave the cozy fireplace that easily warms the entire house.
Newly added outdoor dining and cooking space, including giant picnic table and an outdoor bar with lighting and electric which has quickly become a favorite breakfast, lunch and dinner spot.

Summary: Warm and cozy. Everything needed and more for a great stay! Loved the fireplace, with as much firewood as we could use. Beds are super comfortable, even heated bed pads. We spent a lot of time reading and playing games, enjoying the wine and treats provided by our host. Very attentive host to address a minor issue with the TV (my fault, technologically challenged ; ). I would love to come back again in the summer to enjoy all the lake has to offer!

Summary: This cabin has everything you need for a perfect up north getaway. It is tucked away in the north woods on a beautiful lake. We loved spending time in the screened in porch or down by water. Plenty of water toys, too!

Summary: This was a fishing trip with my brothers and good friends we are all in our 60s now so the walk to the lake was a little tough coming back up the cabin was great the pontoon was great no problems whatsoever

Summary: Host provided so many unexpected personal touches(I won’t ruin the surprises! 😄) very comfortable cabin with so many conveniences. Lake was great, pontoon was great, water toys were great! Good communication with host. Overall a great stay! Beautiful peaceful lake and never overly busy!

Summary: This is a perfect place to hang with your gang and experience relaxed cabin life. The accommodations lack nothing - kitchen supplies, games, water toys and very comfy beds. Everything is very easy to access and figure out. The host is super responsive. You will not regret relaxing in this gorgeous space on this amazing lake.
