Summary: We had a nice time in this very cute lake house. A short drive to Chetek for shopping and bar & grill’s. Definitely will return in the future. Good communication with the host. Fully stocked with everything we needed.

Summary: Was quiet, peaceful just what we were looking for. Early spring so not alot of tourists yet. Surrounding areas were just as inviting. Very easy checkin and out. Host was very welcoming.

Summary: My intention was to get some work done, but you cannot help but feel relaxed! As hard as i tried i found myself on the deck watching wildlife and forgetting my stress! This is a birdwatchers paradise even in cooler temps. I didnt even realize how much i have enjoyed my time watching them its just so easy!

Summary: This was our third stay at Chetek Escape and we enjoyed our daily Prairie Llake view, morning and evening. This home has everything you need. Plenty of space and if you want tv, there are plenty of streaming choices. The internet works great too. About a 5 minute drive into town. There is a local grocery store, a new bakery, which we recomend, and a new ice cream shop. The house is located on a quiet street a few miles from town and has a nice fenced in yard if you have dogs. The property manger is great at keeping in touch. The home is very clean, cozy, and quet. Enjoy your stay!

Summary: Took the family for Labor Day & had an amazing time. View from the deck is beautiful. The campground next door has pontoon rentals, so we spent the day on the lake. Highly recommended!
