This beautifully renovated, 200-year-old home has everything you'll need for your vacation, in all seasons. It features three very spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen with a dining table for eight, washer/dryer, WiFi, board games, streaming movies and television, and a VCR with a broad selection of DVDs. We provide linens, towels, and other amenities.
The two-story rental sits above Local Fair, a boutique featuring local artisans on the historic main street in Jim Thorpe, and is a short walk from dozens of restaurants, shops, museums, bars, and art galleries. Take in a show at the Mauch Chunk Opera House or enjoy a leisurely meal at the Stone Row Pub & Eatery or Notch Eight Craft House, all just steps from our door. The house comes with up to three parking spaces—a true boon in the downtown area, where parking is scarce.
Jim Thorpe is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. In the spring, summer, and fall, take advantage of the region's world-class mountain biking; pedal 25 miles of the D&L Trail along the Lehigh River (accessible by scenic railway); jump into a whitewater rafting expedition, timed to the area's dam releases; or hike the gorgeous Glen Onoko Falls Trail. During the winter, use 101 Broadway as a cozy base for the Blue Mountain and Jack Frost ski areas, which are both less than 30 minutes away.
We offer plenty of advice on ways to take advantage of this fabulous area. But please note that our home sits in the middle of the historic downtown and abuts our neighbors, so it would not be a good fit for groups aiming to use it as home base for a rowdy celebration. We prefer families and groups with six or fewer adults.

Summary: This was our 2nd stay at your home for our Crazy Cousins girls weekend. The house was a perfect location and was 100% as listed. Summary: Property was incredible! Description was on point. House was immaculate. Hosts, Jenny & Tghe were friendly & accessible. Beds were comfy & there are plenty of extra blankets.The kitchen was so nice & well equipped to make a special birthday breakfast. The best though was having a parking spot so close to the property & the hosts allowed us to stay parked after we checked out to spend the day instead of going home.The girls & I really enjoyed ourselves & would recommend to anyone & it's really kid friendly too.We will be back again. Summary: This house was perfect for our stay in Jim Thorpe during the last weekend of September. The house had ample room and bathrooms for our party of five adults. The parking spaces were a great perk. We parked and never needed our cars again. We walked everywhere. We had tickets for an evening performance at the Mauch Chunk Opera House which was practically across the street. The house was comfortable and quaint. The living room area was small, but we were busy the whole weekend and never needed to spread out to watch TV. I highly recommend this property and hope to stay there again.

Summary: This home was perfect for our two night visit to Jim Thorpe. We walked everywhere except Pike's Peak concert venue which was an easy, short drive away. Beds were comfortable. Window AC units kept house very comfortable despite the hot weather. Thanks.
