Summary: Clean and cozy! Property managers were very attentive. We had everything we needed for the short term stay. The place had nice “vintage charm” with modern amenities. We appreciated the privacy and the many recommended activities and restaurants that were provided to us. We look forward to being able to visit again soon!

Summary: This was my first solo venture following my husband's unexpected death and I chose Jim Thorpe because we've visited together in the past and I knew I would feel comfortable both in the town and in the property. I've stayed in many rental properties, but this one remains one of my favorites. The owners are lovely and wonderful to work (and talk!) with. The property is immaculate and undergoes continual maintenance and upgrades. The location is perfect -- easy to park the car and walk to everything. If you've ever been to Jim Thorpe, you know that parking is at a premium -- so the dedicated off-street parking space that comes with the property is a major bonus. There is absolutely nothing that I don't like (except that it is getting so popular that it's hard to find an open weekend!).

Summary: Thank you so much Jeffery for making our stay over so delightful. You are a role model for VRBO owners. I loved the details of the apartment including the porch swing, shared patio space, coffee supplies, and comfy bed. The tub was the perfect ending to a full day of hiking. Summary: Even more beautiful than the pictures. Old Jailhouse is literally across the street. Information from Jeffrey was above and beyond. Many dining suggestions as well as things to do which were all in walking distance. We loved our stay at The Guest House and hope to come back to Jim Thorpe and the Guest House soon!
