Welcome to Wilton Bush Cabin. We offera private, self-contained cabin with a separate entranceand off-streetparking with the following features:
- High-quality queen bed mattress with organiccotton sheets
- Large relaxing sauna
- Apple and Andriod TV to access Netflix, DisneyPlus etc
- Free wi-fi
- Bathroom with heated towel rail
- Fully insulated and with a heat pump to keep the cabin warm and cosy in the cooler months or cool in the hotter months
- Private deck with the bush outlook and BBQ facilities
- Kitchenette withbar fridge, toaster, kettle and a small hand basin as well ascomplimentarytea and coffee. Cooking facilities include a microwave, BBQ, and multi cooker (pressure cooking, slow cooking, cook rice, steam vegetables and sauté)
We can accommodate a third person for an additional $15 per night on a separate single mattress on the floor.
Linen and towel will be provided.
The number 14 bus stop is in front of the property with a direct route into Wellington city (approx 20-minute bus ride). Alternatively, the CBD is a 10-minute drive.
At your doorstep, there isŌtari-Wilton's Bush, a haven of native trees and birds, with many walking tracks to explore. The entrance to the bush is a 5-minute walk from the property.
Enjoy a wine on the deck while listening to the songs of the tui and kaka birds who frequent the garden daily.

Summary: Was a cozy and lovely little cabin. Was alot of stairs we were not aware of and it was a bit difficult to navigate them in the dark otherwise a nice stay and a nice little cabin.

Summary: The location of this cabin in the bush with all the noisy and unique birds in the eucalyptus tree right at our front door was incredible. How cool to see Kaka birds up close. We loved having all the bush walks nearby and the bus stop right outside, so handy to Wellington, yet we had our little hideaway from town. Thank you heaps Lara.

Summary: Great location and stay, no faults. Was amazing to constantly have Wood Pigeons and Kara flying around and about, so unexpected in Wellington.

Summary: Loved our stay, the owners were great with communicating and were able to change the dates when I booked the wrong weekend which was so kind. We went for a walk in the bush near by which was amazing, heard birdsong mom stop which was fantastic. Even had some friendly neighbourhood cats came to hang out with us!! It’s close enough to the city while still being secluded. Would definitely recommend to anybody wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle.

Summary: This was a lovely sunny, well set up bach. Its location near Ōtari Wilton Park, and all its own native plantings, made for a restful stay. The only problem was there were too many interesting books on the bookcase for us to read in one weekend!

Summary: Overall it was a nice place to stay outside of the city center. Cute little cottage with lots of windows for natural light and ability to watch all the birds. Be warned there are a bit of stairs, so if you have heavy luggage keep that in mind.

Summary: My husband, our 14 yo, and I spent a few days at this lovely space just outside of downtown Wellington. The space was exactly as described! The studio was roomy and immaculate! All of the linens and the beds were comfortable — some of the best sleep we had while traveling! The CBD was an easy bus or Uber ride away — which was nice at the end of the day to have a quiet place to come back to! I would definitely stay here again!
