Summary: We had a lovely time at the cottage! It’s absolutely beautiful, and the jacuzzi and fire really added to the experience. The location is perfect—very peaceful and relaxing. The hosts are super nice, which made our stay even better. We would highly recommend it!

Summary: Everything was lovely & the service was excellent. Our personal preference is to have a softer mattress so the bed was a little hard for us but other than this everything was perfect for a trip to the south west lakes. Many thanks to everyone involved and a special thank you for the birthday cake - very much appreciated

Summary: We spent a week in this lovely lovely cottage. This was more than a home from home, offering some real luxury from the cosy blankets on the sofa to the slippers and robes in the bathroom. Everything about the design of this cottage has been thought through in detail and has all you could want for a place to relax in whatever the weather. The addition of the hot tub was very welcome after a day of walking in the Lakes - a great way to ease the muscles! The courtyard is a real sun trap too. There are some lovely walks on the doorstep - Black Combe and the England Coast Path, and numerous walks within a short drive - the Duddon Valley and Wastwater. The nearby Miners Arms, about a 15 min walk away, is a friendly place for a pint or two. The welcome basket was very welcome indeed - and as for the homemade brownies - wow - worth the stay in themselves!
