Positive: The place is aestheticaly very pleasing- at he beautiful compound, a wonderful pool with infinity parts in it, and a little waterfall in it.at the end of the compound overlooking open space, with vineyards. The pool uses salt and not chlor, the water clean. Very pleasant. The host is very nice and flexible.
Negative: Since there is not much storage in the open cupboard and one keeps most things in suitcase, it would have been nice to have more light to illuminate the suitcase area. Also there was no place to hang one' s wet swimming suits to dry. So one has to improvise. The host knows only Portuguese and french, so if you are jot to strong in these languages you shoukd usr googlw transkatw which is fine

Positive: We had a lovely stay at A Flor da Rosa and truly enjoyed the peaceful, authentic atmosphere. It’s the kind of place that immediately makes you slow down and appreciate the surroundings. The property is charming and full of character, blending traditional style with comfort. The rooms were clean, cozy, and inviting, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. The setting is beautiful and quiet, perfect for disconnecting and enjoying nature. At the same time, it’s well located for visiting nearby attractions. The hospitality was excellent. The hosts were kind, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a calm and authentic getaway. We’d be happy to return!
Negative: There were a couple of minor challenges during our stay. We experienced some issues with flies, and the pool was not active at the time, which was a bit disappointing. Communication with the owner was also a bit tricky, as they mainly speak French and Portuguese. That said, we were still able to manage and the owner was kind and well-intentioned throughout. Overall, it’s a nice place with a lot of charm, especially if you’re looking for an authentic and peaceful experience.

Positive: Beautiful setting with nice views of the countryside. Delicious and varied breakfast and a kettle and refrigerator in the room. The owner? was very nice and even though she spoke no English and I spoke almost no French or Portuguese, we managed to communicate sufficiently.
