Summary: We loved our stay! Everyone slowed down as we sat with the view. Plenty of space for 3 couples to find space for themselves and to gather together to cook in the big kitchen, play games and watch movies at night. We never even used the 2 nd living room place downstairs! We enjoyed long walks and exploring the area, too. Thank you so much!

Summary: This was the perfect location for a stress free, relaxing vacation. The views are priceless, and the location was private and peaceful. The short walk down the stairs to your own private beach, or a 5 minute walk through the neighborhood to French Beach was our evening favorite. Our dog was in heaven! The only thing lacking were outlets in the upstairs bathrooms, but the downstairs will accomplish your blow drying needs.

Summary: Our family of 7 (3 adults, two teens, one 9 year old) really loved our time in Shirley! The view from the house can’t be beat…simply stellar! The huge picture window with the couch was a favorite place to curl up and watch the boats go by and to look for whales. The house isn’t brand new but is well loved and the perfect place to unwind and relax! We were all able to spread out during the day and then meet up in the big room downstairs (we dubbed it the gameroom) for board games at night. You can take a short walk to French Beach in no time and we did that every single day! We also walked to the lighthouse several times and one of our teens took about a million selfies…it’s very picturesque. Stoked pizza is nearby and we were able to go to the Shirley Sunday market (they have fresh mushrooms and breads, etc). We drove into Victoria one day for a bike tour and we thought we would be sad to leave beautiful Victoria but we actually ended up leaving a bit early because we wanted to get back to the house which was comfortable and quiet and had all of that wonderful nature around it. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Summary: The location and ocean views from this house are incredible! We enjoyed walking down to the beach and exploring the shoreline. We enjoyed walking down to the lookout and watching the fishing boats, pleasure craft and the sea birds. The kitchen is well equiped and the downstairs fridge was very handy. We sat seven at the kitchen table and it became our games room. The views from the living room are breathtaking. The large screen TV is a nice feature. The decks are a great place to watch out over the Pacific!

Summary: We arrived well after dark and were treated with gorgeous views in the morning. Great location to explore the lighthouse, French Beach, Mystic Beach & Sooke. Enjoyed the private beach and stairway down. While on the beach we had a bear come down the stairway which definitely surprised us! Only thing I would change is more lighting in the bedrooms & some outlet plugs in the upper bathrooms. Would love to come back if we get the chance again!

Summary: It was exactly as advertised, amazing views and our kids loved the tide pools during low tide. We had a bear one day cross the driveway but other than that, it was drama free! Shirley Delicious lived up hype, we went many times.
