Summary: We had a great time in the old water mill in the middle of the forested hills. The house is a great base for cycling and hiking in the area and has all the facilities to relax. We enjoyed the sauna, swimming pond and pizza oven and appreciated the quiet environment. Huge recommendation!

Summary: A tastefully and thoroughly renovated water mill, hidden in an idyllic valley in the middle of the woods. Ideal for those looking for peace and nature. The only thing you hear is the splashing water of the stream. Ideal base for the many hiking trails in the area or the sights in the wider area in Alsace. The house is comfortably furnished and fully equipped. Guests are warmly welcomed by the owner who is very helpful.

Summary: We were a party of six adults and two children. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Good kitchen and outdoor cooking options, particularly liked the fire pit/bbq. Six bedrooms, lovely views from virtually every room.

Summary: A group of six of us had the pleasure of staying here. The place was absolutely wonderful! We travel a lot and prefer to use VRBO and I can tell you this home exceeded all of our expectations. Francis welcomed us upon our arrival and gave us many suggestions for restaurants and attractions in the area. His chateau is beautifully decorated and very warm and comfortable. It has all modern conveniences along with authentic rustic charm. We could not of asked for a better time and the tiny town of La Petite-Pierre was well worth the visit. One of our favorite memories of our trip was relaxing on the spacious porch, sipping a glass of red wine and watching his four goats romp around the hillside. We definitely will be coming back. Summary: We stayed in Le Saint Moulin for one week. We rented the house with another family, so our company consisted of 4 adults, 4 adolescents and 1 eight year old boy. We all had a wonderful time. The owners, Hélène and Francis, are very friendly and helpful. They stay in their part of the house only in their holidays, so you have the whole vale just for yourselves! It is amazing to have so much space and beauty around you. We went for walks and biking trips, but also stayed in and around the house a lot, just to enjoy the feeling of being part of some noble family: it really feels like living in some grand estate.The only thing that was missing to fit this picture, was a bunch of servants ;-) This place is probably also perfect for Christmas holidays. Or autumn, or early spring. Oh well, it's just great. If you get the change: go here!

Summary: This property is as described a little paradise in the middle of nature. There is a stream behind this property which my son and nephew played in everyday! The owner Francis was extremely welcoming and helpful. Although he spoke limited English, he tried his best to understand and was great with restaurant recommendations and tips. Francis has a beautiful house which has everything we could ask for. We are a group of 11 (5 adults, 3 teenage kids and 3 children). All of us had a great stay. The rooms were nicely furnished and the kitchen fully equipped to do cooking. There is table tennis at the basement and bicycles the kids could ride. Francis even brought in a soccer table which delighted the children. All in all, we had a great time at this property and would highly recommend anyone who wants to escape city living for a while and be one with nature.
