In 10 minutes you are on the wine trail and picturesque villages. In 30 minutes you are skiing!

Summary: Very comfortable. Owner very friendly and helpful, made good recommendations. We would gladly stay here again. Probably better to have a car, as the walk into Old Colmar is not so pleasant.

Summary: This was a perfect spot. The apartment was very nice, spotlessly clean and well furnished. A very short walk to the beautiful downtown Colmar but far enough to be very quiet and relaxing. Owners were very nice and helpful and extremely flexible. We will certainly return to this beautiful city and beautiful appartment.

Summary: Spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable. Bed in main bedroom extremely comfortable. We walked everywhere or got a taxi , location was pretty good once we sorted out our bearings. Hosts very good. Would recommend this property .

Summary: We stayed for 13 days from the end of July through the start of August. We have 2 young children and the apartment was perfect. The two bedrooms are a very good size, kitchen is well equipped with a nice sitting room and perfectly functional bathroom with a very useful washing machine and dryer. The apartment was clean and tidy. Parking was never an issue, always having somewhere on the road to park. It's situated in a safe and well maintained area within walking distance of central Colmar, just a few minutes from all the attractions via a beautiful park. The owners are very welcoming and extremely accommodating and helpful. If we visit Colmar again we'd definitely stay again. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

Summary: We spent 4 days at Olivier's apartment. It had a very good location, truely less than 10 minutes on foot to Colmar center and with great parking opportunities. Olivier was a warm, attentive and accesible host. We arrived at 8pm with all the supermarkets closed and he facilitated bread and milk for our breakfast. The apartment had everything you need for a complete stay. Good matresses, nice decoration, complete kitchen supplies...You even had avaiable a barbecue at the backyard garden, altough we didn't use it. It is a 2nd floor private apartment with an interior ladder to access in, it had a bit steep stairs, but it didn't result uncomfortable for us, included my parents in their seventies. Good recomendation. I will repeat.

Summary: We spent three weeks as guests at the Gite Iris Mauve.  We will always remember our holiday as a beautiful one—in large part because of Olivier and Valerie.  Their warm hospitality and thoughtfulness made our vacation very special.  When we arrived the apartment was spotlessly clean and Olivier was there to assist us in every way.  He provided us with treats, even delicious ripe figs from his garden.  When he learned that we had experienced some confusion driving around Colmar and the wine road, he generously loaned us his GPS for the duration of our stay.  The apartment itself is very large, light and airy, and it is very quiet — even nicer than we had expected.  The beds are quite comfortable and plenty of linens are provided.  Their modern washer and dryer, installed right in the apartment, was very helpful.  There are adequate supplies for cooking, too.  Valerie and Olivier also invited us to enjoy the large, beautiful garden in back of the house whenever we wanted.  The house is just a ten minute walk to the heart of the old town, and the distance to the train station is walkable as well.  In summary,  our experience at the Gite Iris Mauve was exceptional.  We feel we were treated wonderfully and we have made two very nice new friends.  Thank you so much to a wonderful couple!  Ann and John Klekas

Summary: We have stayed in vacation rentals in Europe, the UK, and the States and this is definitely the best place yet. It is exactly as advertised and it is: 1/ spotlessly clean 2/ light and airy 3/ nicely decorated and well equipped 4/ perfectly located for walking to the village, while being in a quiet residential neighbourhood The hosts (Valorie & Oliveria)are friendly and helpful. It was great to stay at a place where the hosts are close at hand but no intrusive in any way. Colmar has many good places to eat, things to do, and is a good central location for visiting other villages in the region, as it is well served by car, bus, and train. We highly recommend this gite.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Valerie & Olivier! It was a home away from home for us! They are an absolutely superb hosta ensuring that all our needs and wants are met. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped and the generosity and hospitality was the icing on the cake! Thanks for the yummy cakes and breads! :)
