Positive: Another lovely stay here - such a wonderful place. Clean, peaceful, surrounded by nature and hosted by such a lovely couple, Richard and Fiona who really go out of their way to make your holiday superb. Well done love our holidays in this part of Portugal and wouldn’t stay anywhere else!!

Negative: The GPS was not on target for this building. It was unseasonably cold weather so a bit more heat would have got us to 10! Hosts were VERY helpful with us getting a previous personal injury sorted out.

Positive: Richard and Fiona went out of their way to make this stay exceptional and we are already planning to come back, including adopting Harry the baby hedgehog the minute we arrived and spotted it! This is a small paradise in the middle of nowhere, the quiet is absolute. I recommend doing good planning regarding groceries etc, as there is literally nothing nearby.
Negative: The fact that we didn't stay long enough!

Positive: What a gem of a find - absolutely loved our stay here, so many little extra thoughtful things - eggs, fruit, tomatoes left each morning. Toiletries and cleaning products supplied, first day breakfast and a bottle of wine! Richard and Fiona are such a very lovely couple, always eager to recommend lovely places to visit, river beaches, restaurants etc. The accomodation is absolutely excellent, so clean and comfortable with a gorgeous pool area - there was absolutely nothing lacking to make this a fantastic stay for our week in the lovely mountains of northern Portugal, we can’t wait to come back - can’t recommend highly enough!

Positive: The location was about a 10 minute drive from Castanheira de Pera. The home was located in a neighborhood in a quiet & rural area. The place was very clean and spacious, and the bedroom was large and with a very large and very comfortable bed. The hosts were very attentive and hospitable and made me feel welcome and had great suggestions for things to do in the area.
Negative: Nothing to not like.
