Welcome to Dar Massaneh Essaouira.
Having welcomed over 1000 guests so far, we are delighted to provide details of our Riad for your information. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any specific questions or requests.
This large traditional house, built over 3 levels, consisting of 3 large bright double and triple bedrooms plus a single, in addition to several living areas ensuring maximum relaxation for our guests.
There are 2 bathrooms decorated in the traditional 'tadelekt' style.
There is a private split level large double terrace with panoramic views of the Medina and sea, ideal for sunbathing, yoga or general relaxation. The terrace contains a traditional outdoor oven, bar area and sink. There is also a dining area on the Terrace.
We do have a double sofa bed in our salon available for an extra guests if required.
All linens and towels are provided and the galley kitchen is very well equipped.
Guests will have full access to all areas including the fully equipped kitchen with its 5 burner gas cooker and large fridge freezer. We also have a washing machine available.
We have satellite TV.
We are located within The Mellah, the UNESCO protected old Jewish Quarter, close to Place Tarra. This is a trendy part of the Medina, filled with artisan shops, restaurants and cafes with wifi.
The magnificent local beach is an 8 minute walk through vivid and colourful historic streets. Many bars, camel rides and water sports can be found along the beach front.
The whole of the Medina is a pedestrianized zone, however we are located near one of the main gates where taxis are easy to obtain. There are a few long term car parks, which are safe and secure, available for hired cars.
We have excellent free WiFi access, and any meals are available on request.
Please note that the House Manager Youness lives nearby and will always be available should you need any assistance or advice.
Smoking is permitted in certain areas and we are pet friendly.
We can arrange any of the local activities for you if required including day trips, excursions, hikes and golf.
Our manager Youness can arrange any airport transfers or transport arrangements you may require.
