Summary: Lovely comfortable cottage with all you could need, beautiful surroundings, the only downside was we were unable to get taxis or Uber to come to the property, there is usually a ferry to take you across the water, but unfortunately it isn’t gonna be working until possibly after Easter, so we sweet talked the bar staff into taking us back for a small fee - definitely would stay again - great communication from the host Debbie.

Summary: This is the third time we have stayed at this lovely holiday home. Amazing position for visiting the beautiful area of Symonds Yat with our dog. Everything you could need for a relaxing stay. Highly recommend the Old Ferrie Inn for meals or just a drink by the river.

Summary: The property is clean, modern, well equipped, dog friendly and right on the river. Lovely walks from the doorstep and there are plenty of walks within a short drive. The local pub is a 10 minute easy walk and does great food.

Summary: The cottage is well equipped and comfortable - everything we needed - the only suggestion is that a mirror in the double bedroom would have been useful. Communication with the owner was quick and simple, and we had all the information we needed to find and access the property (the access road is quite narrow, but you get used to it!). A friendly pub that serves excellent food (Ye Old Ferrie Inn) within easy walking distance. Good walks straight from the cottage and others further afield. The hand ferries across the river at 2 local pubs don't seem to run reliably at the moment, so don't rely on them.
