3 Bedroom Cottage in Ivinghoe, Leighton Buzzard

Cowmans Cottage is one of seventeen holiday cottages at Town Farm, on the edge of the Chilterns. We are a working arable farm, with some sheep over the surrounding hills, we are lucky to have views over to Ivinghoe Beacon on one side, and Aylesbury Vale on the other. All the cottages each have their own unique charm, and we also run a campsite during the summer months. The `Pick Your Own` opens in June and guests can take a picnic and stock up on fruit and vegetables - this is a five minute drive away. It is only a ten minute drive to Tring Railway Station, shops and facilities, or a ten minute walk to Ivinghoe village, with pub, shop and tea room. London Euston is a 40 minute train ride from Tring Station.
The front door opens on to the hallway, with under stairs storage. The ground floor comprises an open plan sitting and dining room, with a separate kitchen and enclosed patio area.
The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.
The sitting room has comfortable sofas, a flat screen TV and dining table with six chairs. Access to the courtyard patio area from the sitting room
Upstairs there are three bedrooms (one double and two twins) and a family bathroom. The bathroom includes an over bath power shower.
The property has access to a tennis court available to hire, games room and a children`s play area on the farm. Cowmans is centrally heated by oil. Parking for two cars is available at the front of the property.
Up to two pets are welcome in the property, please let us know on booking. Wi-fi is included in the rental.

Summary: We stayed with you 10 years ago so we were aware of the great location, the cleanliness of the properties, and we were definitely not disappointed this time, fresh flowers and eggs were a lovely touch. Cottage was very well presented, everything looked and smelled clean. Definitely will and have already recommend to others.

Summary: Stayed at Christmas for the second year in a row. It’s such a lovely spot. Cottage is so cosy, but also has loads of space, and is very well equipped and immaculately clean. Booking and check in is great - everything is so well organised.

Summary: A months stay whilst waiting for our new house to be ready was made a very enjoyable experience. We were made very welcome and Cowman’s Cottage provided more than adequately for our needs.

Summary: We stayed at Cowmans cottage between house moves for 4 weeks. The cottage had everything you need for a short or medium term stay and is a generous size. The location is lovely with lots of local dog walks and Ivinghoe village just a 10 minute walk away. Wifi can be a little slow. Would definitely recommend this cottage.

Summary: The Customer Service was absolutely brilliant, Angie and Kelly could not have been more helpful. However, the seating in the living area was not really comfortable. The length of the seats on the 2 settees was far too long for someone who is only 5'1'' even with the cushions I couldn't put my feet on the floor or really sit in a comfortable position.

Summary: We stayed in Cowmans for just under 6 months whilst we had some work done in our own home. It provided us with the most lovely home away from home, on a farm, with our little boy. Unfortunately we were out during the first Covid lockdown 2020 but the surroundings and all the local outdoor activities helped immensely. From a practical point of view, Cowmans has got to be one of the best equipped holiday cottages we’ve stayed in, with almost most everything covered. Angie, Will, all the Leach family and their staff made us feel so welcome and were really helpful whenever we needed them. There were particularly lovely with our little boy who loved visiting their dogs. Although we’re so glad to be home now, we still miss the farm. We would highly recommend for a holiday or for a longer stay like our own. Thanks for having us Town Farm!

Summary: Another great cottage on this fab complex with something for everybody. The house has everything you could need, the owners are hugely helpful and welcoming and the view of the Beacon from the kitchen window makes even doing the washing up a pleasure!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay in Cowman's Cottage at Town Farm. The cottage was very spacious and well stocked with everything we needed. We really appreciated the tea/coffee, biscuits and milk on arrival. Very thoughtful touch. This is our second visit as a big family group. We booked 3 cottages and would recommend this place as a great location for all ages. Surrounding countryside is beautiful.
