Negative: Toilet seat ill fitting. Lid kept falling closed.Unable to relax when daily ablutions were conducted. Lack of towel racks. Small refrigerator would be a big improvement.

Positive: Louise was the absolute kindest host, extremely personable to talk to! The rooms were comfortable, well appointed and quiet, and the continental breakfast delicious. I'd absolutely recommend them to anyone needing a nice place to rest.

Positive: Lovely bright room, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Nice ensuite with very good shower. The Nespresso machine in the room was especially appreciated. Lovely breakfast and great atmosphere. The location is ideal; quiet and residential and just a few minutes drive from Galway city centre. Louise was an excellent host who was on hand to help with anything, and was so warm, friendly and really welcoming. I highly recommend Abacus Guesthouse and would definitely stay again if visiting Galway another time. Thanks so much, Louise, it was a pleasure to stay at Abacus!

Summary: Excellent: clean & comfortable room in quiet central location. Nice shower & good breakfast. Superb!
