Summary: the stay generally okay, but a few areas could be improved. On arrival there was no valet service, and I was given incorrect information about EV charging. The junior suite was comfortable overall, though the room was quite warm while the bathroom was noticeably cold, and the furnishings felt a little tired rather than well-integrated. Some of the facilities also seemed a bit run down. Palmer’s Kitchen was convenient and the food was decent, but fairly basic (more burger-joint than a destination dining option).

Summary: Beautiful grounds and hotel. Lots of staff on site Poor service though. No one could explain and show us how to get to our room. The extra room we had in the lodges wasn’t explained and was locked. Service at meals was long waits for service. Just very odd. Seems that focus on customer and training is the gap as facilities are stunning

Summary: Poor customer service was experienced two days in a row in the breakfast dining room. Staff took my order for coffee two days in a row and then didn’t deliver it. Had to ask other staff a couple of times to please bring coffee. On day two my wife and I had the great fortune to get on a “wait list” for a table for breakfast. We waited 25 minutes to be seated. When it came time to check out I asked the front desk for a porter to get our bags. I waited for another 25 minutes while I watched others who had come after me receive their luggage. For the price of this supposedly five star resort I found the lack of good customer service quite disappointing. I, unfortunately, will not book another stay here.

Summary: The staff is very attentive and helpful. The bartender was amazing. We just needed 2 more of him as the lounge was under staffed. Beautiful location just 2 miles from downtown. I wish it had a pool and had upgraded walk in showers. The breakfast was amazing. Also Pullman Restaurant is a flash back to days gone by. Dont miss it....it is remarkable.

Summary: This is a nice enough hotel, but the property is dated, it badly needs a renovation, and if you think it is some sort of castle, it is not. The staff is really excellent, but for the price, I would not revisit and would discourage anyone from booking there expecting any sort of luxury experience. It is an old hotel with old rooms.

Summary: Hotel is beautiful and staff are great. The Pullman was the highlight of our trip. The food is outstanding and the service even more so. Ian made our dining experience so memorable, he was personable, extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The staff in the hotel itself were also lovely and very friendly. Excellent experience.
