Our holiday house is right on the beach at Patons Rock.
It is a few steps from our lawn to beautiful Patons Rock Beach.
There are 2 kayaks and 2 stand up paddleboards (SUP) for guests to use free of charge

The polished timber floors in the living area are a lovely feature, along with the log burner fire and bifold doors to the large deck. The extensive open plan living area and wooden deck along the front of this classic beachside home offer you panoramic views from Farewell Spit to Separation Point. The large open plan living area and deck allows for entertaining and accommodating family and friends, and there is a spacious, well equipped kitchen. There is plenty of outdoor furniture and a quality BBQ for outdoor entertaining and relaxing.
There are three good sized bedrooms, one king with ensuite, one queen and a 3rd bedroom with a bunk set, double and single beds. This home can sleep up to 8 people and the king and queen bedrooms both have beautiful sea views. The king bedroom has an ensuite bathroom while there is a further toilet and separate shower for the other bedrooms.
We provide all bedding including sheets, pillow cases, duvets and covers, mattress protectors, pillows, bath towels and tea towels.

Summary: This was our second time staying here and we'll definitely be back again! The perfect spot for a family getaway. Gorgeous beachfront location. Central to all of Golden Bays sights. Stylish and homely and plenty of room. Spotless and well looked after. Great for our young kids being fully fenced so we could relax and enjoy ourselves. Kids loved our kayak adventure and the extra beach toys! Sue was great to deal with, we had everything we needed. Was very hard to leave and could have easily stayed more nights!

Summary: A fantastic time was had at this perfectly located beachfront holiday house. Well equipped indoors, as well as kayaks and paddleboards for outside. The kitchen comes with oven and dishwasher. A great beach for swimming, fishing and walks. 10 minutes drive approx to Takaka or Collingwood in either direction. A great place for a young family or older children, as well as adult groups.

Summary: Had a brilliant few nights at Patons Rock. Excellent property, especially for young children with the enclosed garden and easy access to the perfect beach. We really loved it and would love to visit again in the future!

Summary: Our 3 nights at Patons Rock was a great time away. House easy to find and relax in, also a good location. A real shame that the wind put a damper on enjoying the beach and toys in the garage. We would definitely return if possible. We did have to buy some lu paper as there was none extra, and found it hard to wait around for washing to finish after packing up to hang out the towels, but no other issues.

Summary: This house it just lovely. We really enjoyed being so close to the beach and were always stunned by the view. It was very cosy with the fire on at night and everything we needed was provided. We enjoyed to try out the stand up puddling and the kayak, thank you so much for the opportunity to use it!

Summary: Fantastic stay!! For a winter holiday stay it was super cosy and warm yet spacious and comfortable. Great quality beds and pillows and everything you need in the kitchen. Felt like I was staying in a home rather than holiday accommodation. Really couldn’t fault it and didn’t want to leave.

Summary: Had 3 great nights here . There were 5 of us on a little reunion so a great spot to have a catch up. Had a lovely swim, horses on the beach and beautiful sunrise! Layout of Bach was perfect for 3 couples. Great place to hunker down in the early stages of the Coronavirus outbreak in NZ. Would definitely choose this place again if ever in the area.
