Our holiday home is fully self contained.
Absolute beachfront..best location in Mahia.
Large deck area and BBQ provided.
Lots of lawn area for cricket, ( please do not use the garage window wall as a back wall) games, and the Taylor's Bay beach is just beautiful Also a walk from the Batch to Opoutama is a great activity. (1.5 hr walk)
Short drive to Wairoa town, and 1 hrs drive to Gisborne.
Local Hot Pools at Moere have various bathing options (temp) plus a big outside pool for children.
Great fishing on both sides of the Mahia Peninsular with sheltered beach launching.
There is no boat tractor on the property.
GUESTS MUST DEPART THE BACH BY 10.00AM ON THEIR MORNING OF LEAVING.
Special conditions:
Smoking allowed outside only.
Pets allowed with prior approval.
Pets may not come inside.
Double garage attached for pets sleeping.
Great for families.
Any damage will be charged to your credit card.
No loud music after 10.00pm.
Dishes to be washed and put away, and the place left tidy on departure.
NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave; Bring your own bed linen and pillowcases.
We have bath towels and tea towels available. Please wash and hang in the garage line before leaving.

Summary: We loved our stay here. Such a beautiful location. We took our dog along and the property was nice and secure being fully fenced. It was a chilly weekend so the woodburner was lovely. We would recommend this as a lovely place to stay in Mahia.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay although the weather was awful. The bach is very comfortable and well appointed in an ideal position on the seafront. In good weather it would be super. I would be happy to book it again for my family.

Summary: Wonderful property right on a small quiet beach. Large living room and kitchen comfortable for 5 or 6 people. Large deck looking directly on to the water and a small patio on the other side of the house. The host, Gerry, took care of us very well and couldn't have been nicer. This was the best stay we have had in Mahia. Would happily book this again. Peter

Summary: You could not get a better setup than this. Beachfront house with plenty of space, covered decks, outside shower for rinsing off, grassy space, stuff for kids, and has wi-fi and cell service if needed. It's a stunning spot and we loved the place. Although it was not quite as clean as we would expect, when I brought this to the attention of the host he responded quickly to rectify it, and I would happily book this property again.
