Relax in the luxury of the comfortable lounge room or on the covered deck and enjoy the expansive ocean views and watch the whales pass by in season.
It is located in the quiet 2nd Valley, is 300m from the beach and close to the shop and Bistro at the Fraser Island Retreat.
โ€œAcaciaโ€ has been fully renovated throughout and boasts all the modern appliances and furnishing of a 5 star accommodation. It has 4 bedrooms over 2 levels and can sleep up to 10.
The ground floor has a large covered deck with outdoor furniture and a modern BBQ where you can cook in comfort in all weather conditions. There is a fridge on the deck where you can keep your drinks handy and cold.
The open style of the spacious lounge/dining room features comfortable lounge, 60 inch smart TV with Satellite reception and Satellite NBN with free wifi. There is a large dining table for 10. The kitchen has all new appliances and is fully equipped with gas stove, microwave and all the utensils you would expect to find in your home.
Also on this floor is Bedroom no.1 with a Queen bed. There is a bathroom and toilet, a separate toilet and a laundry with front loading washing machine.
On the top floor there are 3 bedrooms. 2 have Queen beds and the 3rd is ideal for children with 2 single beds and a set of bunk beds.
There are ceiling fans in all rooms and bedrooms have USB ports for charging your phones and appliances.
The living areas are tiled and bedrooms carpeted.
Power is supplied by state of art Solar system with generator backup.
โ€œAcaciaโ€ is ideal for 2 family groups or a large fishing group.
Guests are to bring their own linen (top and bottom sheet, pillow case and towel). Blankets, doonas and pillows are supplied. Fraser Island is a remote location and there are no linen services and no labour available.
As Happy Valley is centrally located on the Eastern Beach it is a great base for exploring all the beautiful lakes and features Fraser has to offer. It is also a handy spot to base yourself if you like chasing fish up and down the beach.

Summary: Overall, a great stay in a beautiful part of the world. The location is fabulous as itโ€™s as central as possible to most of the island attractions. The house was really well appointed and had everything our group of two families needed. The wifi wasnโ€™t working when we visited which was a little disappointing. Also, I may have missed it in the fine print, but there is a requirement to do a self clean before departure including bathrooms. This wasnโ€™t really a drama, but may not suit all it and wasnโ€™t made clear at time of booking .

Summary: Property was great and filled with everything you could need! Communication was great and friendly helpers! So many facilities including 2 fridges (which came in handy for Christmas Day lunch! Would recommend to anyone going to Fraser to stay here! We had 6 kids ranging from 14-3yr and everyone had a blast! Was our first time at Fraser - the map in the frame was amazing to look at and show re he kids! Thanks again for everyrhinf

Summary: Acacia was the perfect house to come home to after a day of exploration and adventure. We had two families (7 people in total) but would comfortably fit another family of four. The balcony space was lovely with the additional fridge/freezer and bbq, but we opted to stay indoors as the evenings were a bit too chilly for the kids. We could see whales from the balcony and some of the bedrooms, which was very special. The location is awesome, the kitchen well stocked with utensils and cutlery and the filtered tap was a lovely touch. All in all a fantastic stay!

Summary: Wonderful house and worked so well for us with a 5 month old. Thank you your house just made it easy. Only thing is bring a tea towel and shower gel, maybe pop soap in also and toilet paper.
