Summary: We had every expectation we would be staying at the Ridgeline Holiday Inn Vacation Property only to be put off to an "off-site" property acquired by Holiday Inn Vacations. We were told the building belongs to Holiday Inn Vacations and was absolutely part of the complex. "Access" to pool and hot tub meant a shuttle ride or drive to. Our furnace fan ran nonstop and was so loud we could barely hear the TV. Front desk was notified and we were told an "engineer" would look into it. The room is "all hotel" unlike a private owner that usually has games and cozier feel. Fireplace was fake and didn't work anyway. Not even sure what it did because there was no flu. Front door had a 3/4" gap on the bottom and was so out of square had to shove it open in addition to putting a towel at the gap to keep out the wind and snow. I have had better doors at a $90 hotel. Location is close to the Stagecoach Lift but one might say "close, but no cigar." Hence the low rating as I expected to be in the resort proper. On the plus side: ski shuttle was convenient and timely. The king size bed was very comfortable. There are other units in the Ridge Crest that are below grade and I would have really flipped out if that was the given room. Beware.

Summary: The villa was gorgeous and well stocked . The hot tub was very hot and we had it all to ourselves the entire weekend . When we arrived the TV did not work and there was an issue with the wiring which they were able to quickly repair. We never ran out of towels and the bed was very very comfortable. My only complaint would be the lack of hot water to the shower and the fact that the sliding glass shower door did not stay shut , so basically you had to take a lukewarm shower with the door wide open . I ran a bath for my daughter in the giant tub located in the bed room and the hot water to the tub seemed just fine. Overall beautiful place would stay here again.

Summary: Several issues with this rental. 1. We were only told at check-in that our rental was not at the Ridge, but at an "offsite location" that was considerably farther from the ski slope. 2. Ridge property has a gondola directly to the Stagecoach lift, which was a big draw for us. When I mentioned this in my objection to being located offsite, I was told the gondola wasn't working and hadn't been for two weeks. Next day we saw the gondola in service bringing skiers down from the ridge property. It appears the receptionist straight up lied to us. Really disappointing. 3. No sheets in sofa bed, and it took 3 hours for sheets to arrive because they were "understaffed." 4. Sofa bed was dirty. 5. Kitchen was severely understocked. Two pots, no pans. If you want to cook you have to bring *everything* -- cooking oil, butter, spices, etc. 6. "Resort fees" that were not disclosed on VRBO. Hello, it's COVID, there are no "amenities". No pool, no hot tub, no common spaces at all. Oh and there are none of those things at the "offsite location" anyway. Other than that the rental was fine. Very disappointed in the service, but the skiing was great and we had a nice weekend.
