Summary: My family and I enjoyed our stay; we could access the town centre easily without much traffic. Very lively area with shops and restaurants at our reach. The caretaker James was very helpful, and respectful. Always willing to help with our queries and directions to shops in surrounding areas. He made us to feel at home.

Summary: After checking in a mirror fell on my son's head because it was not attached to the closet wall. I texted the Host and suggested that she mount all mirrors since every room was the same way. The following day there was an issue with the toilet in the first room; when you sat on it, it moved from side to side, and water covered the floor, causing a slipping hazard. I reached out to the Host again and mentioned this to her. She appeared upset that I had brought these things to her attention. Finally, I contacted the Host about whether the dryer was working, and she said there was a clothesline to use. That was the last straw because she had the property manager come by to inform us that we had 24 hours to vacate the house. We travel all the time and have never had an experience like this. We were foreigners in a foreign land (I sent her a message asking her to give us a least 28 hours because we would be homeless, but she never responded) so we had to find a place immediately. In addition, she didn't want to give us back our money, VRBO worked with us and we ended up getting back 2/3 of the money. So renter beware, if you find things wrong don't complain the Host will kick you out with only a 24-hour notice. I'm just grateful the grandchildren weren't with us.
