Positive: This location is absolutely beautiful for front porch views of the water as it sits on the exact point the road gets closest to the water along the northern side of the peninsula. The host was very friendly, offering us tea, coffee, or a scone anytime our paths crossed, and she made us an awesome and filling breakfast with eggs to order for our long day of driving. The location is also a 15-minute drive back to Wesport, with plenty of options for djnner.

Negative: Parking at the locations is immediately adjacent to the main road along the coast, so you should take care when loading/unloading lggage.

Positive: Absolutely gorgeous location with views of the mountains as we stayed in the first room on the left. The host was fantastic and very welcoming and went above and beyond that we had a good breakfast and a sandwich to take with us.

Negative: Nothing terrible but the water pressure of the shower is a little low due to being mountain water, so if you're planning to shampoo your hair it will take some time to rinse out

Positive: A good continental breakfast...and also could take whatever was left for a packed lunch..Great views from our room looking across Clew Bay towards Achill Island. Margaret was very friendly and warmly invited us into her family home.

Negative: Though a little dated..but nothing else really.
