REQUIRED COUNTY STR PERMIT INFORMATION: STR 22-6658 | TOT #16197 | Max Occupancy is 3 | 1 Parking Spaces. Parking on the street is strictly prohibited. All vehicles must be parked in the driveway and/or garage at all times. Guest must agree to read and comply with Placer County's Good Neighbor Policies.
County Rules
As part of the Short-Term Rental Permit for this home, the county asks that we share the important rules and regulations with you. We appreciate your cooperation in following the guidelines listed below, also included in your signed Vacation Rental Agreement.
Maximum Occupancy: There shall be no gatherings, events, weddings or other group functions on the Premises with more people than the number of persons stated on the Agreement.
Parking: Parking on the street is prohibited at all times. All cars, boats, and trailers must be parked in the garage and/or driveway.
Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are 9pm-8am, seven days a week. Per the County: No sound may be audible from the property line during quiet hours. Amplified sound (such as speakers) shall not be used outside or be audible from the parcel line of any short-term rental at any time.
Lights Out: All exterior lights must be turned off that are not needed for safety or other outdoor use to the extent that such other outdoor use is not an unreasonable nuisance to neighbors at night.
Red Flag Warnings: Due to high risk of wildfire in our area, bonfires, charcoal barbecues, and wood-burning fire pits are always prohibited. On designated Red Flag Warning Days—when fire danger is especially severe due to dry conditions and high winds—all outdoor fires are prohibited, including gas grills and gas fire pits. These restrictions come directly from the North Tahoe Fire Protection District and must be followed for everyone's safety. It is each guest's responsibility to stay informed about Red Flag Warnings. They are announced on local news, radio, and social media, and you'll also see signs posted at fire stations throughout the area.
Winter Driving: Many highways, access roads, and driveways in the Tahoe area can become icy during the winter. For your safety, it's essential that between November 1st and April 30th your vehicle is winter-ready. Make sure brakes, windshield wipers, defroster, heater, and exhaust system are in top condition. Tires should be properly inflated with excellent tread, and you should always carry tire chains—even if you have an AWD/4WD vehicle. Double-check that your chains fit your tires and are in good working order. On many state highways and county roads, four-wheel drive and snow tires are required for safe travel.
Please be prepared for winter conditions: dress appropriately, stay in bounds at ski resorts and if you get lost, remain in place.
Garbage & Bears: Please do not feed the bears. Black bears are very common in this area and, over time, many have become used to human food and trash. Because they no longer have a natural fear of people, you may see them during your spring, summer, or fall stay. Feeding bears is illegal, and leaving food outside, trash unsecured, or doors and windows unlocked can lead to serious property damage to both homes and vehicles. To help prevent this, all waste must be placed in bear-proof bins or dumpsters and the latches secured. Placer County sorts recycling from the waste for you at our materials recovery facilities.
Office Holiday Hours
The TTVR office is closed on New Year's Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Therefore, we are unable to accommodate check-ins and check-outs on these dates. Thank you for understanding.

Summary: We stayed for Thanksgiving. You walk out the door and the Lake is right there. Absolutely breathtaking. Safeway is a one minute drive away, Northstar is a 10-15 minute drive away. It was great. The cabin was clean, the bed was comfy, and the kitchen was stocked for our Thanksgiving cooking needs.

Summary: Great location. Charming small cabin equipped with all essentials for a comfortable stay. Steps to the lake. Barbecue on your own deck which is easy to operate and works great. Bed in the bedroom is comfortable and very clean. Sofa beds in living room are more like mats on wood and not comfortable at all. They are also very worn. Overall this is a great place for a getaway.

Summary: The quaintness of this little enclave of cottages, cleanliness and close proximity to Lake Tahoe was fantastic! We tried to extend our stay because we were having such a great experience, but this cute little home was already booked for the same day we were scheduled to check out. We are hoping that it is available again next July because we would like to come back for a longer stay. We had only one tiny snag - it gets quite warm in the afternoon in July and there was only one small table fan at the site. Luckily, we brought a couple of box fans from home just in case. It would be nice to have more fans at the home so we don't need to bring our own. Again - this is such a tiny issue, but I at least wanted to mention it in case it helps someone else plan for their summer stay. This in no way impacted our review or overall satisfaction - we are very happy and satisfied with the experience and want to come back:) Thank you to the owners and management company for such a great experience!

Summary: Pine coves #2 nice cozy cabin it is beachfront property and close to everything but it needs updating. Shower is very small for my 6'4 husband. It is pet friendly and my dog has a place to run around. Communication is great. Overall, if we have to go back to Lake Tahoe we will surely stay in this place again.

Summary: The private beach and dock are wonderful! Close to kings beach, shopping, & dining. The cleanliness wasnt great, bathroom trash was full when we arrived, including dirty diapers; and the bedding could have used a refresh. We loved the fireplace and the kitchen is well stocked with nice cookware, but overall the property is relatively run down. The second twin bed is quite old and hard. Ultimately its a nice stay, but some basic repairs and simple upgrades could make it great.

Summary: Lovely 1 bedroom cottage just short steps to lakefront. Fully equipped, clean, cozy and view of the lake. Lovely deck with patio furniture and easy access to beach with boat dock, which is pleasant to sit on and enjoy the sunrise. Conviently located to great hikes, restaurants and Safeway. Barbaqued a lovely steak dinner on the propane grill conveniently located just off our porch. Would definitely stay here again.

Summary: This place is/was such a gem - right on the lake in a chill little complex with the beach + deck & pier, just steps from the front door. It’s just a cozy vibe with everything you need, and nothing you don’t! It’s not well marked (part of why it’s a hidden gem;)) so definitely map it & consolidate into 1 car - parking is limited. Would stay here again (:
