Relaxing atmosphere where you can spend time alone or with family at this peaceful place to stay. Located right outside the city limits of West Monroe, La. this is a place to hang outside on one of several lounging spots outdoors or lay out by the pool. Darbonne Bayou boat ramp is less than a quarter mile from home, so you can launch your boat & head down to the Ouachita River for a day of fishing, skiing, or chilling on one of the river’s beaches.
You will be renting the entire downstairs of this property. We live upstairs. We have two dogs but we contain them upstairs with us. There are shared areas such as the yard, pool, sitting areas, grill.

Summary: We had a lot of fun, Fishing, Swimming, an overall great stay. Only thing is it was a lot of spiders but I guess you can expect that in the area.

Summary: This place was perfect and quiet. Everything you need is there and it’s so beautiful to just sit outside and take in the bayou. Owner is very friendly, quiet, and we barely seen/or knew she was there. Two sweet cats that are friendly too and keep bugs and crawlers away. We’d stay here again

Summary: We needed a place at short notice due to a funeral. The hosts were great. Very private and quiet. We had plenty of space to spread out and the pool was a bonus. It was just what we needed. Now my family can’t wait for our next visit.

Summary: We was in Louisiana for a family reunion in west Monroe. The house we rented was lovely and close to everyone and the park. The owners were very sweet and the pool was fun for the kids. I enjoyed everything about the house.

Summary: Nicely decorated basement apartment. Awkward kitchen with lifted appliances. Ice cold air conditioning. Beautiful swimming pool. Comfortable beds. This property could use some TLC.

Summary: This is a peaceful, waterfront property divided into two homes, one on top (where the owner lives with a couple friendly quiet dogs) and one on the bottom for the guests, with 3 bedrooms and 1 bath. The bathroom is stocked with toiletries and a blow dryer. The shower was a little small which wasn’t really as much of an issue as the angle of the shower head. Property has AC and ceiling fans, as well as a washer and drier available. The Kitchen is fully stocked with necessary dishes and a there is a keurig (bring your own kcups). There is a step up to access the sink and kitchen appliances which might not be suitable for the elderly. We would’ve taken the trash out the last day but did not find a dumpster near by. The owner was very respectful and responsive. Overall we had a great experience and would stay at this property again.
