Positive: The hosts were wonderful and made us feel at home. She does speak some German if that is useful to you (it was for us). Room was comfortable, had nice A/C on a warm day. I recommend the hike down the canyon to the Kobayr Monastery, which you can start from the B&B. Odzun is a good place to see village life in Armenia.

Negative: Nothing!

Summary: We greatly enjoyed our stay in Odzun and would come again.

Positive: Ever wonder what it would be like to stay with family in Armenia? I mean the ones you really like, not your family at Thanksgiving. Then stay here! Amalia was the consumate delightful, very friendly hostess, her husband a hard-working, lovely man, and her sister Melania and husband Nicol(sp), who were visiting from Yerevan were also great. All immediately accepted me into their lovely family and home. Despite the language barrier, we used Google Translate and had no problems, lots of laughs and honestly I felt a real connection to such delightful people. Food was delicious, varied and healthy coming mostly from Amalia' extensive garden of which she is justly proud and gave me the tour. There are also lots of flowers, making it a really cheerful and peaceful spot, literally just a couple of minutes from the church and a little market. The room was very comfortable, quiet and had everything I needed and the bed was great. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Negative: That I could not stay any longer

Positive: Our stay at the aghasu tun b and b ended up being one of our favorite parts of Armenia. Amalia (sp?) was a lovely host who not only was a great chef but it was very nice to get to know her and share our love of music together. There is a communal area where we got to spend the evening with other guests who were also very lovely and showered us as well with Armenian hospitality. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Would stay again and recommend to friends and family. Surrounding area is very beautiful (don't miss Lori fortress). Amalias garden is also really cool!

Negative: If I had to pick anything, agree with other reviewers that they duvet are a bit small for two people especially if one of them hogs the sheets

Positive: Highly recommend staying here if traveling in this area. Owners are very welcoming and hospitable (not fluent in English but do speak German if applicable). Delicious meals with vegetables grown in on-site garden (plus homemade apricot brandy!). Also a short walk from Odzun Funerary Monument.

Positive: The room is located at the owner property, near her house. She has a really nice garden where you can relax and enjoy life. There are tables and benches outside where you can eat, but in case of a bad weather there is a shared big kitchen with dinning table inside. The owner made for us a nice dinner and good breakfast. If you come with a car, you can park it on the property. The owner was really nice, luckly she knew a bit german so we could talk a bit :) we also help each other with google translate.

Negative: The blanket for the bed was a bit too small for two people. But it was not a critical thing.

Positive: Lovely little place ideally located in Odzun, situated about two minutes from Odzun Church, and three minutes from the trailhead of the Odzun—Horomayr—Kobayr hike. The highlight is, of course, the wonderful warm reception that awaits you here :) The host is truly friendly and welcoming, a joy to talk to. We felt at home for our entire stay.

Positive: Odzun is the place to stay when visiting the Lori region. It is at a high elevation with incredible views from every direction. Amalia and her family have created something very special out of their bed and breakfast. You will certainly enjoy your stay with this very charming and welcoming family. Grandma Nina is 90 years old and an absolute delight to have a cup of tea with. Amalia's son is a good driver who knows tons of unique places around Lori (and he charges reasonable prices). The accommodation is clean, comfortable, and even better in person than the photos. Breakfast is grown on the property, definitely don't skip it!

Positive: Although the facility is clean and confortable, the best part of this B&B is Amalia, the host. She is very warm and welcoming. She provided us with great food, wine, and brandy; much of it produced or grown on the property. We communicated in German since I do not know much Armenian. If anyone is taking the slow road from Tbilisi to Yerevan and wants to pass time in a small Armenian town, staying here will be a treat.
