Positive: Very nice house, which was spotless clean with all necessary equipment available. All those little things in the house were a huge bonus for us as they are not self-evident (as already available soaps, dishwasher/washing machine tablets, fruits, wine, raki, spices, beach umbrella...). Joanna is a very nice person, which took good care of us upfront and during our stay. She even managed to meet us in person at the beginning and the end, which we appreciated a lot. The house is located a few minutes from a smaller town and even though you could maybe survive wirhout one, a car is highly recommended. To the beach it is a 10min drive. I would recommend the house to my family & friends and would return whenever I visit the area in Crete again.
Negative: The WiFi signal on the upstairs floor (bedroom and terrace) and the pool area could be improved to have a better signal. We often had to rely on our mobile data in those spots.

Positive: The villa has everything you need for the perfect vacation in Crete. Very spacious , great private pool for each villa, super comfortable beds, 2 full bathrooms, washing machine, dishwasher lots of plates and glasses, fully equipped kitchen (including spices and everything else you need to cook). There's a great barbeque and outdoor kitchen next to the pool, and someone comes daily to clean the pool and the outside area of the vila before you wake up. It's just a 12 min drive to Rethimno, and there's a big supermarket 6 min away (and smaller ones even closer). The host Ioanna is so nice and helpful with everything you need. We got an amazing "welcome basket" with fruits and even their self made wine and Raki. Highly recommended!!!
Negative: Can't think of anything. I read in previous reviews that the road to the vila is unpaved but this is probably old as the road today (Aug 2024) is fully paved.

Positive: The house has two great terraces to enjoy lunch/dinner outdoor. It had a great outdoor brick built bbq installation, very handy to grill. The pool was perfect for cooling down and relaxing. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed as a small family. The Internet connection was excellent. All bedrooms had air conditioning. The house was incredibly well looked after overall. And on top of all that, the host Joanna is incredibly friendly.

Positive: Everything went great. The house was just perfect for our family's needs and Joanna was a very friendly host. If you are looking for accommodation in a quiet environment, but still in a place where you can easily experience Crete, this is a good choice.

Positive: The villa is fully equiped with all thats necessary for a family with children. Outside the villa you have a swing and a seesaw for your children to play and theres also a ping pong table. The pool is perfect for children. At the beggining it is 0,5m deep and then its deepness increases gradually till 1,5m. The terrace outside near the pool its also a plus. Every 3 days comes the cleaning lady and cleanes up the whole villa and changes the sheets and the towels.
Negative: If you want to travel with the car to the far ends of the island ( Elafonisi or Vai beach) you need to count with 5-6 hours for a round trip.
