Positive: This property is not for everyone but if you are looking for a peace and quiet with some authentic Italian rustic on your trip then you won’t be disappointed. The host, Franca was extremely friendly and spoke good English. Our accommodation was for a family of four. It was away from the main building up a gravel path, just a short 5 minute walk to the pool. The apartment had everything we needed to cater for our family of 4. I was concerned that we didn’t have air conditioning but the old stone houses stay cool if you follow Franca’s advice and when you open the windows at night a nice breeze runs through. All of our windows had fly screens so they could be left open. The views were outstanding over the hills, from our bed we even caught the sunrise! We loved our stay here and I walked away from our two night stay feeling refreshed and relaxed. Thanks Franca for a very enjoyable stay!! Emily and Family

Positive: Lovely rural location. The property is rustic! The lady who liked after us was fabulous and the property was super-clean, if a little basic.
Negative: We could have had a fan in our room. It was super-hot in the summer.
Summary: Excellent for a middle-of-nowhere cheap get away.

Positive: We only stayed one night during our motorcycle roadtrip, Franca was very welcoming. The place is situated in a very nice environment, calm and surrounded by nature. The room and bathroom were very clean, a great value for money.

Positive: Amazing location in the mountains not far from Garfagnana, but a bit hard to access. My room was in it's own house up a long, bumpy gravel drive. Come prepared with four-wheel drive for the mountain roads. Amazing views, lots of privacy.
Negative: It was a little tricky finding my room since the host and I communicated over the phone, but I got there in the end.
