Villa Elvira is the ideal destination for your relaxing holiday in the green Tuscan countryside, perfect for families with children or groups of friends.
Built in the early twentieth century in the heart of the beautiful Pisan countryside, Villa Elvira is a beautiful family residence surrounded by a large park: it was the holiday home of a family of Pisa and today is part of a farm with agritourism.
The elegant frescos that decorate all the rooms and the refined furnishings of the villa, an enchanting example of liberty architecture, create an environment of great elegance but at the same time cozy and familiar.
On the ground floor there are the large entrance hall, the living room, the TV lounge, the breakfast room, the large dining room, the kitchen and a bathroom. Dining room and kitchen are fully equipped for 12 people.
On the first floor there are 5 double bedrooms, all perfectly furnished with period furniture, and 3 bathrooms. Sheets, towels and table linen and kitchen linen are supplied.
Wi-fi internet connection available in all rooms.
The house is surrounded by a large tree-lined garden with ample space for children's games, comfortable armchairs for relaxing under the gazebo, ping-pong table, private swimming pool equipped with an umbrella, deck chairs, chairs and a table to enjoy an aperitif. Summary: We loved our stay at Villa Elvira ! The accommodation was beyond our expectations and the hostess was super friendly and cooperative. The house was clean, the beds were amazing and everything was taken care of. We would love to return someday.

Summary: Villa Elvira is nestled in a beautiful rather rural area between Florence and Pisa and is 'Agriturismo' as advertised. It fulfilled all our expectations and charmed us with it's stately spacious old world beauty. It was quiet and secluded and hot! But we wanted to stay longer.

Summary: We had a wonderful family holiday in Maria’s house. There were 7 adults and 2 young children and everyone had a great time. The house is amazing and has heaps of character . All the facilities worked perfectly. The garden had swings slides table tennis and of course the lovely pool. Thank you Maria for a wonderful holiday

Summary: It was an amaizing, phantastic week at Villa Elvira. We arrived late due to several traffic jams, but Maria was very flexible and at 7 pm we arrived. She was at the Villa and explained us each room the history and the ancestors of Villa Elvira. We are very impressed of the original furniture, ambiene and felt home 100 years ago. The size of the Villa and the Garten is huge , every person, and we are 7 felt very well and explored her, his favorite place. Sometimes we have to use our cell phones to find each other. Also the pool we enjoyed a lot and at noon the shadow of the old trees invites us for some relaxing time there. We spend a very great time and Maria was a perfect hostess - thank you Maria once more again, we will always remember these impressive holidays. See you hopefully again Rainer

Summary: The area around this house ( mansion) does not scream Tuscany, but it is located very close to what travelers might consider the classic Tuscany. At first, when we drove up, we had a little concern about the building, but once inside, we knew we had found a true GEM. It is a palace of a place,with the most beautiful grounds , a playground in a park like setting, and a lovely pool area with complete privacy. The manager Marie, could not have been more delightful and helpful. She gave us a very good orientation to the property, which is necessary because the place is so huge. Gorgeous accommodation, with 5 bedrooms and many bathrooms all with all the comforts of home. The rustic kitchen is actually very fun, and supplied with all you need for a fantastic stay. HIGHLY recommended, and we can’t wait to return. Thanks, Marie, for a fabulous stay filled with memories we shall hold forever.

Summary: Amazing house beautifully decorated with appropriate old furniture. Really spacious there were 7 of us and there was loads of room for us to sit and eat together but also places to be by ourselves. the pool is lovely surrounded by trees and its really well maintained by the gardener who calls regularly but unobtrusively. Despite being just 15 minutes from Pisa it is so beautifully rural and quiet . The shutters mean you sleep in complete darkness and the house is cool no matter how hot it is outside. Only issue is there were some rather vicious mosquitos so bring repellant !!. Maria was so welcoming and had really good English which was great as we had very little Italian. a wonderful experience and hard to leave . Thank you.

Summary: Everything was perfectly splendid! We, a group of ten graduates, had a lovely stay at Villa Elvira! As we arrived the host Margherita was already waiting in front of the villa, as agreed on, to welcome us and for the key handover. She was, due the whole time of our contact, before our arrival and after it friendly and helpful, always accessible for questions and we enjoyed ourselves. The Villa Elvira is a wonderful old house with character, as we arrived all of us were astonished, due to the beauty of the paintings on the ceiling, the big, neat garden, the atmosphere and everything around us. The rooms, beds, bathrooms and kitchen were all clean and tidy. And so was the pool, which was cleaned every morning, sometimes more often, by a young, friendly and polite man. It is a very silent area, perfect for relaxation and to calm down. The sea of Cecina for example is only half an hour away by car. So the villa also has a great position. For grocery shopping you can decide between more then 3 different shops, through which you only have to drive 10 minutes or less. The day of our departure was also without difficulty and we were a bit sad, that we had to leave this wonderful place so soon. We definitely would stay at Villa Elvira again!

Summary: Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at villa Elvira, a perfect spot to come back to at the end of a day of sight seeing. Lovely setting in rural tuscany but only 15 mins from Pisa.Beautiful and peaceful, and so suitable for our family group of 12. Would highly recommend this villa, wouldn't hesitate to rebook again. Also thanks to Maria for organizing a booking at a wonderful local restaurant for our first night so we could celebrate a daughter's birthday.
