Positive: The hostess was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the lounge was pleasant. It was quiet - no traffic or noise from other guests. The guest house was easy to access at all times of day. Good location with 5 minute walk to the seawall and 15 minute walk to Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque and Basilica Cisterns.

Negative: There was no hot (or even warm) water for the 3 days we stayed. We were offered to shower in an unoccupied room on another floor, but it had no hot water either. The room with balcony that we stayed in had a sewage smell in the bathroom the entire time we were there. The listing had breakfast included, but when we arrived, we learned there was a 10€ charge for breakfast.

Positive: Location, Staff. The host was very good. Advised us on local attractions and food.

Negative: The bathroom was not good as expected. It is a renovated house, not a proper hotel, so the facilities are like that. There is no elevator.
