Summary: The location was great due to it's proximity to the airport. We aren't big on cities so the noise of cars and dogs all night was hard to sleep through but it's the city. The host was great!

Summary: We stayed the day before our flight and Edward was so kind in quick communication with us, helping us with details of our trip. When we arrived, Edward was right there to help us park and get settled. He let us know about the local groceries and even sent us directions to the best gas station for our rental car. The apartment was so clean and refreshing with the interior decorating, windows and mirrors, and equipped with everything we needed! Very comfortable beds and honestly our stay was the perfect relaxing day that we needed before heading to the airport which was SO CLOSE! Edward's wife even offered a delicious looking breakfast the next morning, but unfortunately we needed to leave and couldn't stay for a breakfast. We hope to stay with Edward and his family again! Pura vida!

Summary: This apartment is ultra-modern. It's well appointed with excellent Internet. The owners, who live upstairs are very friendly and helpful. The parking is free and secure, inside the gated complex. The apartment is located withing easy walking distance to a supermarket (across the street), bakery, pizzeria and a pharmacy. The owners provide transportation to the airport for a very modest fee. There is minibar service offered by the owners that offers beer and wine for nominal fees. The tap water is drinkable and the coffee and Costa Rican tea is free. American and vegetarian breakfasts are offered for a nominal fee (orders must be confirmed on the night before). Monetary exchange ($US or Euros to colones) is available at rates that are superior to the airport. If you are a birder, there is an open field, surrounded by trees and bushes, that is less than 200 meters from the apartment. We listed seventeen species there in forty-five minutes, with close views of all species. If you want to have a comfortable stay in a very modern apartment, and get a glimpse into the Costa Rican city life, this is the place to stay! Pura Vida!
