Positive: Our stay at Akagera Park Inn was a very unique experience. The hotel and the rooms are lovely with some fantastic views and overall really nice facilities. Food was lovely and the hotel staff were really friendly.

Negative: We (5 people) went on a safari experience organised by the hotel. This was a good experience initially however the car was extremely old and seemed temperamental. We broke down, loosing 6 hours of our day in a car. We were collected but 4 hours after breaking down. Accidents can happen however this was an expensive safari experience, we expected a better car. The taxi to take us to the airport was a 7 seater car, without enough space for luggage. Our only option was to drive the taxi ourselves last minute. A pair of hiking shoes was also stolen from the balcony of one of the rooms. Staff were helpful but be careful with belongings. Could have been a great experience but would recommend looking into additional excursions and taxis with other providers

Positive: Beautiful rooms, very close to the entrance gate of the NP. Very kind and helpful staff. We really enjoyed our stay here and can highly recommend this place.

Positive: It was a nice spot with the rooms on the hill looking out the mountains and the swimming pool. Food was very good though more expensive than in the restos. The stuff was very kind helping with everything we needed.

Negative: The cleaning staff when cleaning rooms was too thorough moving everything around.

Positive: The views from the lodge was amazing, location is also closer to the main road which leads to Akagera national park. The staff was amazing and they were always available to assist with all my requests which I am grateful for.

Negative: The pool did not look so clean and there was no pool towels provided in the rooms. Also the bathroom has a mould smell and that's because the windows are always closed but with the Aircon on one can go by.

Positive: The hotel is nicely located by the main road towards Akagera National Park with lovely views over the valley and it's quiet. rooms are good. wifi ok and it also had a nice swimming pool. breakfast was very good.

Negative: We had no running water in the showers or only tiny driplets for our 2 nights stay. and we felt that dinner was hugely overprized but not many other options.
