Positive: I can’t say enough how amazing this place was. I usually stay at high end hotels because I’m nervous about the accommodations. Akrogialia Beach Rooms is better then many 5 star hotels in terms of location, cleanliness, service and property maintenance. This place is family owned and family run and you see it everyday. Dad takes care of the beach. Mom bakes for her guests and greets them everyday. Eleni was more than hospitable. She made you feel like you were part of her family. Her attention to detail and guest satisfaction was superb. She made sure that you were treated better than royalty. I left knowing that I made a new good friend for life. The rooms were super clean everyday and in pristine condition. They gave us an abundance of free water which was an amazing touch. They refreshed the toiletries and towels and bedding daily. The accommodation is right on the beach with calm waters and clean sand. They provide beach chairs and umbrellas free of charge. There are next door taverns and beach bars so you don’t need to go far. The main square is a 15 minute walk and provides excellent seafood restaurants and taverns with views of the water. We love you Eleni

Positive: The rooms are located just in front of the sea with private sun beds just outside your doorstep. The room was extremely clean which made our stay even more comfortable and pleasant. The room has A/C and excellent WIFI which works perfectly even at the beach. The sea is very clean and the scenery overall very relaxing. Just 10 steps away there is a hotel that offers coffee and breakfast and the town centre is located only 10 minutes away by walk. Nearby there are also two or three lively beach bars but we did enjoy the most the private beach the hotel offers. It was lovely meeting the host Eleni who welcomed us with warmth and made sure we feel comfortable and have everything we need. I look forward to visiting again!

Positive: Eleni is a wonderful host! And deserves a ten rating on Booking! But the accommodation is not a ten. Eleni delightfully tells you that the mop and bucket are especially for you…to clean the bathroom floor! And you need it….because it is impossible to have a shower inside the impossibly small shower tray without soaking the floor!! So…Eleni deserves a ten…but the fairly basic accommodation does not!! And having stayed in hundreds of places…I believe it is important to be fair when rating on Booking!! It is very clean. The beds are great. The a/c is great. So I am a bit sorry to be the first to rate this place as other than a ten…but it is simply not exceptional.

Great sunsets!!The bed is comfortable, very clean facilities and good value for the price you pay. What made the experience even more special is the hostess Eleni. She is very attentive to your needs and treats you like family. This is a great place to come back to.

Positive: By far must be mentioned the exceptional hospitality of host Eleni, which was always available, smiling and ready to help and respond to any request... thank you! Akrogiali Beach Rooms is a wonderful and peaceful location right on the sandy beach in Amarynthos, Evia. Rooms are nice, large and clean with all needed stuff and big shaded balconies and additionally a very well equiped shared kitchen is available for guests. Private shaded parking and excelent wireless Internet connection are also available (strong signal in the entire location and also reachable from the beach). A good taverna and beach bar are just near the location and are offering free sunbeds if having a drink or coffee. In walking distance there are also more restaurants, bars, coffee shops, supermarket and other facilities.
