Summary: This was a last minute trip to visit some family and I’m glad I was able to find this place. It was an excellent spot. Very clean, cozy, and peaceful. Location was excellent. It’s right in the middle of Dozier and Andalusia. Best part is that it’s on the water and the owner was great to us. Definitely recommend staying and we will be back to visit again soon!!

Summary: This was the sweetest!! Small (one full bath, one bedroom), serenely planted on a property by the river, quiet; and just 2 miles from the Gantt, AL Singing House. The property has a large yard that faces the river there; and you can sit and read in the swing or on the small dock. Miss Deborah and her family were hosts and were on the property in another on-site home. It was very comforting to come onto the property after dark (November time change and late singing). They never intruded, but their sweet lights were on each evening when I had to come back in the dark. The space i rented was fully ready for me to cook...even though I didn't need to; there were plenty of linens in the restroom and bedroom (warm and cozy!) and a comfy place to watch a bit of tv in the living room. I had my morning coffee sitting at the patio set just outside the door so I could listen and see the wildlife (birds, chipmunks, deer....). I hope to snag this again and also hope others get a chance to enjoy being there!

Summary: Absolutely the perfect getaway cabin. This is our second stay and can't wait to come back. Perfect location, just a few miles from the city, and Point A boat ramp.

Summary: I met the owners. They are amazing people. The place was great. I spent my lunch breaks, I work remotely, on the dock. It was very clean, quiet, and the getaway I needed. The communication was fantastic as well.
