Positive: It's a beautiful and peaceful space to retreat. We really just needed to unwind and it did just that for me. It's about 20mins from town so it's best to have a car because of the distance from Essaouira town. It was our second time here and it was just as beautiful as the first time. We will definitely be back.

Positive: The big swimming pool, the amazing grilled fish (5 stars!) and wonderful staff; Imad and Mamado who did everything to make our stay super comfortable and enjoyable. We also had the best massage we’ve tried in Morocco! The friendly and fun dogs, cats and kittens also made the stay extra wonderful : )

Positive: Ali Baba Infinity is a very relaxing place to stay: the pool at the heart of the resort is fantastic and surrounded by comfortable areas to sit and lounge about in the sun or shade; the décor in the restaurant and bar area is quirky and interesting; the tagines are excellent; the owners and staff are charming and helpful; and the individual rooms / tents are comfortable, fun and different. We also enjoyed our hammam and massage on site. It is a 15-20 minute drive to Essaouira, which is fun to visit.
Negative: (1) Bear in mind you're in an unmodernised area, so the water and electrics can be a little erratic. (2) We got by in our small Kia car, but probably best to have a 4-wheel drive as you drive a few kms on un-tarmacked road (which, to us, added to the charm of the place, so was not really a negative). (3) Occasionally the local dogs' barking went on for too long. But, if you don't want any of those things, just go and stay in town and you will miss a great experience!
Summary: We needed a period of calm and relaxation, and this was a perfect place to get it.

Positive: We absolutely loved our stay at Ali Baba. These guys essentially saved our holiday! Having had a bad experience at another property walking into this slice of heaven was a massive relief. A beautiful property with a massive pool, a wonderfully decorated pool house/restaurant, well thought out antiquities plus the bonus of the company of their animals. In addition to that they had a hammam, a beauty therapy area and a gym set-up. The tents were awesome, again well decorated and equipped, the beds were so comfortable and the indoor/outdoor living was fun. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh mint tea, coffee, pastries, fruit, yogurt and eggs cooked to order. Ahmad and the family’s hospitality was second to none and we felt really well looked after and welcome. We took advantage of the lunch and dinner options on several occasions and were happy with all our meals. The location was around 20 minutes from Essaouria but we felt that was the perfect distance allowing us to dip into the town when we wanted but allows you the peace and quiet you experience at Ali Baba. A car is recommended but not totally essential. We can’t recommend Ali Baba strongly enough, we were emotional leaving and have been missing the place since. Thank you so much for everything.

Positive: Very unusual and beautiful place. Forget your standard hotel room, the whole setup is so charming, cosy and welcoming. The pool, the garden and the main guests area are beautiful. We met the hosts Thierry and Rahma and they are as nice as the place they built. Imad their manager is very friendly, professional and literally always there to help and fulfill all your requests. Get away from the craziness of tourists crowd and indulge yourself with a stay to remember!!
