Their hospitality truly set the tone for an exceptional stay. The lodge itself is stunning, with impeccably clean and beautifully designed rooms that made us feel right at home. The views of the Knysna Lagoon from the property are absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset – a perfect time to enjoy a sundowner on the deck while soaking in the serene surroundings. Positive: Sam and Gordon are so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. The interior of Alkira is spot on and a real luxurious home away from home. Highly recommend not leaving once you arrive, make sure to stay for dinner as the food was delicious.
