Positive: The house is located in a charming, quiet area near a castle. The room is spacious and stylish, both nice to sleep and work in. The swimming pool was perfectly clean and cool which was beneficial on such hot days. Best regards to Babara who took so much care about me so that I could feel good being there 🙂 I do reccommend the place 😍

Positive: Barbara and her family are amazing hosts. They made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The kids were able to splash in the pool and the breakfast was amazing. It is truly the little things that made this stay incredibly beautiful. Can only recommend this romantic Castello for any type of relaxing and calming stay. Added tip: Barbara makes her own pottery and sells some of her wonderful pieces right there

Positive: Truly a hidden gem! Quiet, authentic and lovely place in Friuli, with almost no tourists or crowds. The house is more than 300 years old yet well maintained and with the modern amenities one might ask for - including the lovely swimming pool. The owners are great, they speak perfect English and really make you feel at home! This is definitely a right choice for travellers who appreciate history, quiet time and authentic rural vibe.
Negative: Not a dislike, just something to bare in mind - you definitely need a car. There seems to a be a bus stop in front of the property and there are a few kind of walkable options for shops and restaurants but without a car you will miss the opportunity to see the entire area which is really interesting and undiscovered by tourist crowds (let's keep it that way!)

Positive: The setting of the accommodation is truly exceptional. The room was clean, spacious, and charmingly rustic. Our host exceeded all our expectations – she helped us book restaurants and even arranged a private tour of Spilimbergo. She also gave us great recommendations on what to see in the area and where to go for the best food experiences. Every morning, we enjoyed fresh and delicious breakfasts. We will definitely return to this place and it will be even better with improved pool area :)

Positive: Very nice hostess, knowledgeable about are. She recommended areas for us to visit and made us a reservation at the restaurant on the evening that we were arriving. The room is large and has AC and heating. Window shades can make room completely dark, which is very good for sleeping in. Mattresses are good, on the firm side. Breakfast is a sweet Italian breakfast, you can pay additionally for meat and cheese. There is a small kids playground in front of the house. Area has a lot to visit within half an hour of driving. Car is a must if you visit the area.
Negative: Courtyard could have better lighting at night. It is a bit dark when coming in at night and unloading the car. Additional socket for charging the phone next to the bed. There is a socket now, but the bed side lamp is plugged in, so you have to choose if you want to charge the phone or have the lamp. Wifi could be better.
