Summary: Didn't see when booking that this is a B&B. Found out after arriving thats what it was. There is limited parking here, so if there isn't a spot in front of the house (4 total) then you have to park in the drive under the tree. The entry and exit is desigened to direct you a certain direction so it makes you take wider turns which was a little hazardous. The bed was nice but took up most of the room. So if you need a lot of space for luggage you wont have it. The bathroom is big enough for 1 person with a small stand up shower. If you have used one before its not a big deal, but could be difficult for a foreigner. The staircase is very narrow, so again, if you have a lot of luggage its hard to go up and down and kind of hazardous. Breakfast was good, Marie is very nice.

Summary: We had a lovely stay. It was a busy weekend at the house with lots of guests. Rooms were comfortable. All very close together.

Summary: There was mistake with the days of my trip but Almara House was very efficient and she solved the problem sending us to another hotel with similar facilities. She drove us to the new hotel and she was in contact with us to know if eveything was ok.

Summary: The property was great. Located in a nice area, and Marie was an excellent host. I would highly recommend her B&B if you are planning a stay in Galway.
