Positive: What a beautiful cabin. such a perfect wee spot, so peaceful and the perfect get away for a few nights. The hot tub was a wonderful wee extra to come back to after days spent out hill walking.

Positive: Couldn't fault the view. Very modern and clean inside.

Negative: The following where not in the description of the property especially for the price that was paid. Property was situated at the back of a farm. The property itself in the pictures shown looks quiet spacious but in reality it was very, very small. The main bedroom just fit the double bed in, no wardrobe space, living out of your suitcase falling over it at the bottom of the bed. The second bedroom was minute!!! We took our 19 year old son that is Neurodiverse and he found it very claustrophobic and very warm. Even with small children you would struggle in this room. I tried to make the bed and my bum was on the wall, I banged my head several times, not big enough to swing a cat. The kitchen is tiny, no freezer, no microwave considering you are quite secluded and need to take food with you. The bathroom is tiny, my partner who's over 6ft kept banging his head and the water in the shower was red hot and no matter how we tried we could get it any colder, scolding!! The biggest disappointment was the hot tub. The booking says nothing about it really. After driving for 6/7 hours we couldn't wait to jump in and relax taking in the view....BUT!!! The tub wasn't filled or hot. The owner is there when you arrive and tells you how to fill and heat it, will take 1.5 hrs and that's it!! In reality it took ages to fill, I initially thought the tub was dirty as the water is a rusty brown colour. I lit the fire as instructed going to check every 30mins and putting more logs in until full. This process I started at 5pm and it still wasn't warm enough to use, my partner braved it about 9.30/10pm and it was warm. I came fir a relaxing holiday, ended up stressed and stinking of smoke. I didn't use it as it looked dirty, had things floating in it, very disappointed. We assume it's freezing cold mountain water that's used as the water in the toilet and sink are the same colour.
