This is a unique Stone Mansion nestled on a very private 16 acres in the beautiful countryside of Killingworth, CT. It is only 15 minutes from the beautiful beaches of the CT Coastline. The property abuts 2000 private acres owned by the CT Water Company. The home is over 15,000 square feet in size. It has 11 bedrooms and 15 bathrooms. It is the perfect setting for Weddings, Parties, Retreats, or any type of function. There is a 3-acre unobstructed front yard, perfect for setting up tents. The driveway is 700 feet long that has a full circle to the Main entry way to the home. There is ample parking for up to 100 cars.
The kitchen will impress even the truest Gourmet chefs. There is a Le Cornufe dual fuel stove, multiple warming drawers, 2 dishwashers, multiple Sub-Zero refrigerators and refrigerator drawers, ice maker, a huge separate Bar area with all necessary equipment.
On the First Walkout Level : There is a full Gym, Media Room with 12 reclinable chairs, Wine Room, Full Kitchen, Bar area, Game room with Pinball, Foosball, and Table Tennis. There are also 5 bedrooms. Three of the bedrooms have private ensuite baths. The other two share a bathroom. Then there are 2 additional baths in the Hallway also. The three larger bedrooms have King size beds. The other two have queens.
On the 2nd Floor: There is a 2nd Master Bedroom here. It has a kitchenette, media area, huge private bath with tub and separate shower, a large sitting area with fireplace, and then a large bedroom with a King. It has a queen pull out sofa, and the living area has 2 oversized full couches that sleep 2 as well if need be.
Then there are three additional bedrooms that all have a large private bath in each, with separate tubs, showers, etc. They all have full walk-in closets as well.
There is 1 additional bedroom that has a queen also. Then there is a bath and Laundry upstairs as well.
On the Main floor: There is a private living room with access to the deck. Then there is a very large gourmet kitchen that opens up to the breakfast room, the living room with 85" tv, sitting room, Bar Area, and Dining room. There is also a conservatory room with piano right off the main entry way. This full area is open and very large and well appointed. It can hold a party of well over 100. Then there is a private office, 2 half baths, and the Master Bedroom.
The Master Bedroom or "Honeymoon Suite" is exquisite. It has a huge King Bed area with fireplace. It then opens up to the Princess Layer. There is a sitting area, then a bathtub room, next is a full hair salon room, then a full makeup room, then there is a huge Walk-in closet that makes MTV cribs look small. Ther is a glass enclosed steam shower that holds 4 people, and a dry sauna for three people. There is another side to it with a closet and access to the same walk-through shower. Also, both sides have their own private water closets.
There is a Professional outdoor basketball court.
This mansion is ideal for large groups as it sleeps 24 comfortable and is over 20,000 sq ft. We do allow most events. We do charge an event fee based on the number of attendees.

The home itself is spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, which made it ideal for hosting our close family and friends for the weekend. Summary: The home is in a great location, accurately listed and was very clean. Easy to check-in. The host was very communicative, friendly and accommodating. The trip was initially canceled and the host was graciously going to work with me for a credit, but it ended up taking place. Definitely recommend staying here!

Summary: We recently stayed at this stunning mansion and it exceeded all expectations!!! It’s absolutely beautiful and situated in a private location which was nice.The house itself is massive, including 11 bedrooms and multiple nice living/dining room areas, comfortably accommodating our group of 24. We didn’t cook much, but the kitchen had all high end appliances. We loved the game room, media room with recliner seating, and the wine room. The expansive 3-acre front yard was perfect for outdoor events, and the basketball court was a fun bonus for our family competitions. The master suite is quite luxurious, complete with a fireplace, a full salon, and a spa-like bathroom. My mother stayed in this room and said she felt like a queen lol. This space was perfect for our family reunion. We can’t wait to return next year and make it an annual tradition! Highly recommend!

Summary: House is great, very large, perfect for big groups. Very nice kitchen and living area with plenty of space for groups, and all of the bathrooms were very nice. WiFi was fast and HVAC was great (these can be iffy in rental houses so this is a huge plus for me!). Location is great, near a lovely state park and lots of charming farm stands.
