Log cabin with log fireplace/heat/central AC. Dock, beach, kayaks, canoe, pedal boat. July & August Saturday to Saturday weekly rentals. Peacefully located on the east side of Upper Chateaugay Lake; with easy access to the cabin and lake. Amenities +
Freshly renovated, private, cozy year-round cabin where amazing sunsets paint the sky.
This tranquil property has a private beach and dock. Summer and winter activities can be enjoyed such as: hiking, swimming, amazing sunsets boating, bird watching, star gazing, sleigh riding and relaxing by the fire. There is a resident bald eagle family on the lake. Loons are also a resident.
Note: Pet Fee $75.

Fall/winter rentals are 2 night minimum.

This cabin has two bedrooms, new queen size sleeper sofa, comfortable living room, kitchen, dining on the enclosed porch; which overlooks scenic views, equipped with a full bathroom. Bedroom 1 - king, bedroom 2 - queen, living room sofa bed - queen. All pillows & linens provided.
The cabin is fully stocked with many amenities. The water source is a well. The water has been tested and is very refreshing. No need to bring bottled water.
A washer/dryer & detergent/dryer sheets are provided.
To control extreme temperatures a new hot air furnace/central air conditioner always keeps the cabin comfortable.
Enjoy the indoor propane log fireplace. Adventure out in the canoe, kayaks or pedal boat. Make S'mores by the fire pit near the beach. Firewood is provided. Walk or bike ride on the road that follows the beautiful shoreline. The sandy beach has easy walk in access for all of the boats mentioned. Life jackets are supplied. The beach and fire pit can be seen from inside the cabin along with the beautiful sunsets.
Enjoy board games, puzzles, and books. This also includes children's games, toys and books. There are 3 smart TVs equipped with Roku/Directv Stream. One TV also has a DVD player. The internet is Slic Network/50Mbps.

-Parking is next to the cabin. The area is flat ground. One low step onto a deck leads to the cabin.
-A lock box is used for convenient self check in.
-Guests have access to the entire property including sandy beach, dock, small boats/ life jackets, outdoor fire pit/wood, screen house, 2 decks, outdoor furniture/tables & chairs, propane barbeque grill. The view of the firepit and sandy beach can be seen from the cabin.
-Easy access to the lake for swimming, fishing, boating, docking, ice fishing & snowmobiling.
-Inside the cabin guests have access to all necessary kitchen, bedroom & bathroom supplies; such as coffee pot/coffee, pots/pans, pantry items & more, linens/towels, sheets, blankets, pillows, soap, shampoo, & paper products, TV, internet, games, toys, puzzles, and books.

Summary: Spent two wonderful nights at Adirondack Sunset cabin with my 12 yr old pup. Our first day was sunny, so I was able to see the incredible sunset from the beach area. Wow is all I can say! The property and lake were extremely peaceful and quiet. My dog only wades in the water, but if you have a dog who likes to swim, this is the place! There's a large fire pit, with plenty of wood to have a campfire. The cabin is very clean, warm & cozy. The bed was very comfortable. My dog loved sleeping in front of the gas fireplace. I had no issues with wifi or cell service at the cabin. Although I didn't adventure beyond the property, I'd imagine there are many beautiful places to see or hike close by. Thankful there was still plenty of color on the trees. The Adirondacks are stunning any time of year, but in the Fall they're breathtaking! I can't imagine any season being a bad season at this cabin. Susan was a very thoughtful host and checked in a few times to see if I needed anything, which I didn't because she's pretty much thought of everything you could need. Directions for the fireplace, furnace, and lights were very clear. Was very pleased with my stay and will definitely be back in the future. Maybe when it's warmer so I can go for a swim.

Summary: Perfection! This adorable cabin has everything needed for a fabulous stay. We bought groceries in town. No need for condiments, cleansers, storage bags, etc. it’s all here!!!! From bacon, eggs & toast to grilled steaks on the gas grill, everything needed is there. Most of all, we loved being outside in the pristine back yard to enjoy Lake Chateaugay. All the seating options and fire pit are great, but the seating on the extended dock is superb. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us!!! back yard to enjoy the

Summary: Honestly, I can't say enough. Two years ago was our first time booking this beautiful escape with Susan and I didn't know what to expect. We have had bad experiences in the past, so we were nervous. I had absolutely nothing to worry about. This was the BEST booking we've ever done and were not exaggerating. If you book this amazing vacation you will not be disappointed. Susan surpassed my expectations on how communicative and accomodating she is. I got to personally meet Susan and her husband and they are the nicest people and exceptional hosts. The property is clean, gorgeous, quiet and private. The sunsets off the dock were breathtaking and the fishing was awesome! I just can't say enough. Thank you Susan and Greg for 2 great summer vacations at this rental. We now have great memories that will last a lifetime : )

Summary: My wife and I spent a wonderful week at this cozy retreat on Upper Chateaugay Lake. The cabin had all the amenities to make our stay convenient and comfortable. The private beach and dock were perfect for relaxation in the sun. We took the canoe out on the lake and enjoyed a long row and some fishing. We also enjoyed hiking some of the area's trails including Ausable Chasm, Silver Lake and High Falls Park. The owner Susan was very communicative and provided all the check in details and gave us some ideas for sites to visit while we were there. The description of the property and everything else is 100% accurate. I highly recommend this picturesque escape. Thank you Susan!
