Location, Location, Location! This beautiful 3 bedroom home is located in the desirable community of Virginia Trace. You can walk to Lake Sumter Landing Market Square where you will find shopping, restaurants, movie theaters and FREE live entertainment nightly. Arnold Palmer Country Club is about a half of a mile and offers Championship golf, pro shop and a very popular country club restaurant open for lunch & dinner. Virginia Trace Neighborhood Recreation Center is within walking distance if you are looking to spend an afternoon pool side. If you are looking for activities Canal Street Recreation Center is a quick walk down the street. Here you will find billiards room, shuffleboard courts, bocce ball, horseshoe pits, card rooms, tennis courts, pickleball courts and so much more! If you're looking for more organized activities, Lake Miona Regional Recreation Center is less than a mile away as well. Here you'll find tennis & pickleball courts, bocce ball, shuffleboard, horseshoe pits, basketball, arts and crafts room, a sports pool and many organized activity rooms.
You'll feel right at home the minute you open the front door. This home is professionally decorated with an open floor plan and relaxing spa like feel. This home has beautiful hardwood floors through out the entire home making it easy to clean. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare meals or entertain new friends. The dining room has a large table with comfortable seating for 6. The living room offers plenty of comfortable seating and a flat screen TV with a sound bar for you to enjoy your favorite shows or watch a movie. The inside laundry area also has half bath. The master bedroom has a high-quality comfortable king size bed, flat screen TV, large walk in closet, and a private master bath. The master bath offers a walk in shower and his & her sinks and comes complete with towels and linens. Both of the guest bedrooms have a queen size bed and flat screen TV. The guest bath is complete with towels and linens. You will also find a bonus room off from the living room with a desk & pull out sleeper sofa if you need a little extra sleeping space. Of course there is the charming enclosed lanai which is set up with a table and seating for 4, heat & A/C, and a flat screen TV making it the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee while reading the paper and planning your days activities or relaxing with friends before heading off to Lake Sumter Landing Market Square to enjoy an evening of FREE live entertainment. This home is set up for entertaining so invite your new friends over!
This Dog Friendly (under 60 lbs) home comes complete with 2 gas Golf Carts (2 seater and 4 seater), bicycles, & WiFi internet. With the purchase of resident ID cards you can use any of the 29 executive golf courses with no greens fees. And these executive golf courses are not your typical 'pitch & putt' courses. They present some challenging par 3s and the occasional par 4, with three sets of tee boxes to accommodate golfers of different skill levels. You pay resident rates on greens fees at the 11 Championship courses. You're also entitled to use any of the family friendly and adult only (30 or older) swimming pools, organized activity swimming pools, bocce ball, shuffleboard courts, horseshoe pits, billiards tables, tennis courts, pickle-ball courts, basketball courts, sand volleyball and over 1000 organized activities every week through the recreational centers.

Reviewer Comments: I rented this property for family, including 4 adults, a 2-year old and a dog. The golf carts were a huge plus, much appreciated. Loved the well-stocked and lovely space but: Following a recent storm the lanai had obviously flooded, leaving dead worms and dirt on the floor and a moldy smell that made the lanai and giant screen TV unusable. The kitchen refrigerator froze milk, cream, beer, soda and eggs, some of which had to be discarded, and never improved in spite of raising the temp. We moved liquids to the garage refrigerator, which along with some outlets didn't work until we figured out the GFI in the garage had to be reset. There are water stains on the living room ceiling, age unknown. There were no check out instructions either by email or text until after we called for instructions. The literature in the house was either outdated or not applicable to the property and contained no checkout instructions.

Fortunately there is a refrigerator in garage. Property management company reported only 1 golf cart available. Property description indicates 2 available. As a golf foursome renting, we rented a second golf cart. Upon arrival at property, discovered two golf carts in garage. Finally management company directs you to review check out instructions in binder. Located binder and no check out instructions. We called for check out instructions. Glad we did it would have missed golf cart gas-up requirements. Finally note if you rent via VRBO my, they bill you a $105.00 fee for using their site to rent home. You then deal with Down Home properties and their fees.

Minutes walk to Lake Sumter. The house is as described and pictured and is in good clean condition. A Gas powered cart is provided and gives you all the range to get from one end of the Villages to the other. One note, it is a soft mattress in the master bedroom, not something I am used to.
