5 Bedroom House in Frankfort

The house has four bedrooms and a sleeping loft. It can sleep 10 people. Our house is an upgraded summer cottage with lots of vintage charm and pleanty of space. We have a wide variety of kitchen appliances but no marble counter tops in the kitchen or granite in the bathrooms. But the house is comfortable and spacious with lots of cubby holes. It has over 2500 sq. ft. of interior space and a 1200 sq. ft. deck. There are 3 full bathrooms and two living rooms. It sits on four acres of land and is surrounded by forest on three sides and Lake Michigan on the west side. There is a deck on the bluff which sits 50 ft. above Lake Michigan so the sunsets are breathtaking. The house sits on Lake Michigan but there is also an inland lake, Crystal Lake, at the opposite end of our road. We are three miles from Frankfort, which has lots of restaurants and a hospital, two miles from Point Bestie Lighthouse and about 40 minutes from Sleeping Bear National Park.

Summary: The view and sunsets are amazing. Close to many golf courses and downtown Frankfort. Nice secluded property to relax and enjoy the views and waters of Lake Michigan

Summary: You simply cannot beat this house for location and views!! We loved spending time on the large deck and bluff. Eric was wonderful and very communicative. He made sure the Wi-Fi was working perfectly during our stay since there’s no cell reception at the house, and gave us lots of suggestions for things to do. The house is lived in and has a very homey cottage vibe, which was great for our family. My 3 year old loved picking raspberries in the bushes around the property and the easy access to the beach was perfect for his requests to swim all day every day! If you’re looking for a spot that can accommodate a large group and you love a good sunset view, this is the spot!!

Summary: This a is great cabin for medium to large family with a dog. The view and location are amazing. It’s very secluded and the view of Lake Michigan is stunning. The beach access is through the woods and located at the bottom of a small hill. It was totally secluded and we had the whole beach to ourselves. The home itself is rustic and vintage- lots of history and character. There is so much room in this house- space for many people. There was no air conditioning or TV but the wifi was great and we had a great breeze off of the lake. Highly recommend this if you have a large family or dog. So much privacy and natural beauty. If you’re looking for something natural to get away to this is the place!

Summary: Our first total family get together in 18 months and we totally enjoyed the property. There was plenty of space inside, great views outside, all right at the shore of Lake Michigan. We would definitely consider a return visit.
