A spacious 4 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom property provides enough room to stretch out, relax and enjoy the spacious grounds and views. This property allows 8 Total with 6 Adults plus 2 children due to town code. The main floor houses the open concept living quarters with two double sliding doors opening to a huge deck overlooking the mountains and spacious grounds. There is a very spacious and comfy living room area with two big couches with lounges to host your larger family or friends gathering. Off the dining room boasts a full bathroom with a shower and fully-equipped kitchen that includes anything your cooking needs should require. There is also a breakfast island that seats four and a formal area dining set that seats eight. The gathering spaces on the lower level houses a heat pump for your comfortable heating and cooling needs while the upper level bedrooms have window a/c units in two of the queen bedrooms, due to window configurations is the final two, as well as ceiling fans, as it tends to be cooler in the evenings on the coast.
The upper level is home to the four bedrooms.
Three have comfy queen sized beds, while the 4th larger bedroom is suitable for children with three twin beds.
The second bathroom with a shower is also on the second level.
Wake up to incredible mountain views from your bed and a peak at Somes Sound (Ocean). This lovely property sits on a small side residential road in tiny village of Hall Quarry.
The property will accommodate a total of 8 guests, maximum 6 Adults plus 2 children.
PLEASE NOTE: We are "dog friendly" but you must inquire about your pet/pets prior to booking~ no exceptions. We have a maximum of 2 dogs allowed and there is a non-refundable pet fee of $200 per stay. Please note that your fur babies are not allowed on any furniture or bedding or you will have to pay additional cleaning to get their fur out of the furniture.
We are located in the quaint village of Hall Quarry~We are approximately 2 miles away from Echo Lake Beach and many of our favorite hiking and biking trails that Acadia has to offer.
The down-town area of Bar Harbor is approximately 10 minutes away. The Quiet side as its known (SW Harbor) is located within a few minutes and includes a grocery store.

Summary: The home was clean and spacious. The beds were comfy. The living room and eating areas were spacious enough to comfortably have a few friends visit for dinner. It is dog friendly and our dog enjoyed playing in the snow in the yard. The only suggestion would be to have some glass dishes and a later than 9 a.m. checkout time.

Summary: Comfy, well-appointed, well-stocked, spacious home with views of the mountains and the sound. Location is great! Not too close to everything, but not too far. Owners are very responsive and provided so many amenities within the.house! We like to try different places to stay in MDI during our Nov retreat, but might actually come back Mountain View again!

Summary: Beautiful and immaculately clean home. The location was about 20 minutes from Bar Harbor and close to Acadia NP entrances. The views and yard are beautiful. We would absolutely stay again.

Summary: The house is clean and spacious and located in a quiet neighborhood. There is a well kept landscape; great for morning coffee, peaceful rest, yoga, chat with friends, etc. The house is about 15 minutes from Bar Harbor so access to food and attraction areas were easy. Here are few things to note for others before booking. The check out is at 9:00 AM, which came as a surprise to us and our guest friends. All dishes and glasses are plastic. The 2nd full bath is on the first floor right in the living/ dinning area which makes it hard for two families to use and feel private.There are NO shampoo/ hair conditioning and bodywash/ soap in the showers so make sure you pack yours. There is no access to the lake across the street but there is another lake near by to swim and do other water activities.

Summary: We are a family of 5 plus 2 grandparents. The space was large to spread out, had adequate bedrooms, and a table large enough to fit us all. Location in terms of being 15 minutes from anything on the island and the quiet neighborhood sold us all! We would not hesitate to rent again! Thanks for the great house.

Summary: For a second year, we stayed at this property for a long weekend vacation. The house was clean and has most of what we needed. Lots of space, good bedding, great view on the mountains nearby. Be aware that a pet fee will be charged afterward if Vrbo doesn't add it automatically at the time of booking. Overall a good experience.

Summary: Very spacious and cozy house with an open concept. Perfect for my wife and I and our pups. The house is on a VERY quiet road with very little foot and vehicle traffic. The kitchen was very well stocked with appliances/other cookware needed for our Thanksgiving. The bed was super comfortable. Erica was very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Bar harbor was 15-20 minutes away and pretty much a straight shot. Highly recommend!
